10.40 Vaal - MIRAFLORES - Has placed over this course and interesting at 8's back over the extra.

11.50 Vaal - AMORETTA - Lightly raced, represents a top trainer and has scope for improvement at 33's.

12.15 Vaal - FRAPPACHINO - Every chance on penultimate run, though never been the most consistent. Ton of ability though and the 8's reflects this.

1.35 Vaal - STREET FLYER - Winner last time and not that nmuch worse off for it. Leading chance at 4's.

11.10 Vaal - DELFTSHAVEN - Has form when fresh, so 55 week break not as concerning as it could be. Still risky however, but 33's refelects the ong break and not his ability

2.10 Vaal - DIABLO CANYON - Well drawn in 2 and will be shocked if he does not try to lead all the way. Down to 46 now and way below last winning mark and could cause an upset at 40's getting weight all round.

2.45 Vaal - SHINE BRIGHT and MATILDA'S DAUGHTER - SB has gone off in single figures on last 7 runs and was not beaten far in first 2 h'cap runs. Took a couple of steps back lately, but has come down to a mark of 59 and top young jockey takes the ride for the first time. Definitely expecting a big run at 11's. MD has the plum draw and am assuming that she will try to make all. Does get the trip so should not be weakening dramatically at the end and IMO has a decent chance of hanging on at 14's.

1.00 Vaal - Combination FC / TC with these -

AQUABUOY ( Probably my favourite horse in training at the moment, as was part of a 3k tricast, before winning at 40's last time. Never going to owe me a penny, but could do with adding some consistency )
ROARING TIGER ( Coughing and then not striding out in last 2 runs, so took a much needed break. Hopefully will come back refreshed today and always a danger at this track ( 3 from 9 ). Risky, but the 33's looks too big )
THUNDER APPLAUSE ( Got tired late in the day on h'cap debut, but this is slightly weaker and could hold on longer today. Certainly drawn to attack and EW prospects at 18's )

Couple of disappointing places, but a nice debut 2nd from Rinaria at 33's and a win from Shine Bright at 14's ensured a small profit. Normal Equilibrium is short in the last, so not going to make a big difference either way.
