12.10 Vaal - Going with 3, so looking for the FC / TC -

RONIN WARRIOR ( Solid form, often thereabouts, Strydom booked and leading chance at 8's )
GIVEMEHOPE ( Eye-catching comeback run a fortnight ago after returning from a lengthy absence. He drops heavily in class, but also ( worryingly ) drops in trip. Could get out - paced early, but if anywhere near come the business end will be staying on nicely at 33's )
DYNAMIC FORCE ( Quite lightly raced for a 5yo and down to a 0 - 66. Another that drops in trip, but this one does have enough pace to lie handy and definite EW chance at 40's if anywhere near best )

1.30 Vaal - GOLDUST WOMEN - Apologies for the lack of detail, but racing is subject to a delay and a resumption looks doubtful. Should they run then any softening of the ground would not hurt this one, who is genuinely consistent at 10's.

Racing resumes at the Vaal, with the 12.45, going off at 2pm.

3.20 Rasen - NORMAN STANLEY and LYGON ROCK - NS is a nicely bred newcomer and whilst the stable is not prolific in this sphere, they are in good form and this one has been backed into 7's ( from 12's ) LR has shown way more temperament than ability, but represents a top stable and again looks nicely bred. Huge step forward at 40's would not be the biggest surprise.

Poor day overall. NORMAN STANLEY drifted back out on course, but ran a nice debut 3rd at 11's. LYGON ROCK, showed a lot more today, but was an inevitable 4th at a drifting 66's
