MEISHA LOOCH ( Hinted at ability in all 3 starts so far and back off a short break and has been gelded )
SCOTLAND ( Bare form not so good, but not beaten all that far. Another that could run on into the money )

10:45 - Pair of win ets, plus an EW shout. FC and TC as well with these -

COHIBA ( Was upped for win 2 ago, but was tardy at the start last time. Late progress suggested that his revised mark was not beyond him )
VELVET VERONA ( Decent course record and is 4 form 14 at the trip. Fair chance of this mark and EW possibility at 10's )
BLAZING BRAVE ( Fair efforts last 7 runs and will prefer the minimum trip. Still weighted to go close )

11:15 - JAYRISTA - Still showing signs of greenness even after 5 runs, but also showed signs of ability. Penny could easily drop this time and therefore happy to chance the 50's.

11:45 - CHESTNUT CHARLIE - Not the clearest of runs on debut, but did confirm that the ability is there. Certainly bred to do better and would expect more today. Looks about right at 10's. WARNEY is a lively rag in the race at 66's.

12:15 - Happy to oppose the FAV at 2/5 and going with these instead -

BIZANOVA ( Better over further in latest and has won this c & d )
JUDICIAL ( 3rd run back, Good run in the Summer Cup and has placed this trip )
SHADOW OFTHIS SMILE ( Fair win last time over shorter, but has also won this trip )

12:55 - OFF THE MARK - Generally ridden by top jockey and S'Manga Khumalo re - takes the ride from Strydom. Yet to win over this far, but does get the trip if not over - raced.
