11.50 Vaal - SAKURA and ALTRUIST - The former is the stable 2nd string, but is a nicely bred newcomer at 10's. Altruist is on the drift to 100's, which is a tad surprising as did at least show pace on debut.

12.25 Vaal - STEFFI'S GRAFT and MONARCHY MIST - Couple of lively " rags " at 40's and 66's respectively.
1.00 Vaal - CLASSIC RUNAWAY - Hinted at ability on debut and again showed a bit of pace on 2nd start. Still plenty to find, but Muzi Yeni keeps the ride and improvement more than possible at 50's.
2.10 Vaal - SKY HIGH FLYER - Winner on 2nd start and the h'capper may just have over - reacted. Quickly dropping down the ratings and remains lightly raced. Fair EW shout at 14's.
3.25 Thurles - RHYME AND RYTHM - Big field maiden hurdle and for me, this one of the more likely " rags " at 100's.
3.55 Vaal - MOHALLELA - FAV for maiden win and fought hard to get back up. FAV again on h'cap debut and showed enough to suggest he will be winning again soon. Step up in trip looks fine and definitely has scope at 4's.

MISTHEATRE ( Maiden, but looking better recently and still only 5yo. Needs only minor improvement from last time to get involved at 9's )
QUEENY ( Lost her way a bit recently, but has ability, gets the trip and goes on the ground. Hopefully been freshened up by the short break at 20's )
THE RAP QUEEN ( Nicely h'capped, goes on the ground and the 2f shorter today will suit at 20's )

Not a lot to show for the day. Steffi's Graft led for a long way at 50's, but ended up an inevitable 4th and SHF was 2nd. RNR gave it a go at a huge price, but unseated 3 out.
