Starting off over in South Africa, with an unraced " shorty " that looks worth opposing -

11.45 Vaal -

HALLO MR ( Green on debut and then showed lots of speed over further. Dropped back to 5f today and the early 14's looks big )
PRINCE OF WAR ( Disappointing on both starts to date, but nicely bred, blinkers added and drops in trip. Possible improver at 33's )
VAPOUR STREAM ( Nicely bred newcomer, who has bagged a good draw )
 
Hallo Mr drifted to 22's, but still won nicely, sadly the FAV got up for 2nd, with VS in a photo for 3rd
 
12.20 Vaal - 3 EW shots in the 2nd -

AVICENNA ( Not the best debut, but not beaten out of sight and does have scope dropped in trip )
CAPTAINS GIRL ( Stable 4th string, but well bred and nicely drawn in 2 )
SPICE LADY ( Top young jockey booked for debut, but stumbled coming out the stalls. At least has racecourse experience and bred to be OK )
 
Couple opened slightly bigger, but Captains Girl was an early 25's, but opened 12's and quickly into 10's. Stable elect a drifter, so tough to judge all 4.
 
Stable did get the winner, but sadly not with Captains Girl who was 2nd. First string had Strydom up, but was never dangerous
 
12.55 Vaal - STUNNED - Again opposing a short priced FAV, though only with a small bet on this newcomer. Looks to have a chance on breeding and the stable can get one ready. EW shot at 16's.

Nice if slightly annoying 2nd at 20's.
 
1.30 Vaal - SEAL MY FATE - In fair form, has a good course record and definitely worth a shot this trip. Not giving much away at 5's, but that looks about right.
 
2.20 Beverley - FLASH OF WHITE - Bred to be decent and should have learned a lot from a fair debut.

3.15 Dundalk - CHEERS BUDDY - No show last time, but better suited to the surface today and looks nicely weighted.

3.25 Beverley - EUXTON - Plum draw down in trip and hopefully has enough speed to take full advantage.

9.00 Worcester - SPILLERS DREAM - Useful pointer, who is upped in trip after a woefully one paced effort last time. Would expect much more today.
 
5.25 Dundalk - CHICAGO FALL and MANOMINE - No great shock if either outrun's their odds of 33's.

8.00 Worcester - TRICKY ISSUE - Essentially could not ignore the early price of 200/1.
 
8.20 Killarney - GLENWOOD FOR EVER - Up to 106 now which may just find him out, but obviously in good form and top young jockey booked.

Tricky issue ran nicely for 3rd at the 200's. 3 of the field, including the 2nd Fav went off too quick, so not without luck, but still a fair effort and would not mind seeing them go up to 2m4f next time
