Horse Racing Bets Tuesday 15th December

1:45 Catterick - ROB ROBIN - Might just be a decent race for the grade and others certainly have more pressing claims. RR is certainly bred for the job though and would expect better now sent hurdling.

2:10 Kempton - RED DRAGON - Cracking return run from a Year off and major chance if he does not " Bounce "

3:20 Catterick - MATDULA - 11/4 on debut, but slow pace probably against him. Would expect more today and EW shout at 12's.

5:$0 Kempton - CHESTER DEELYTE - Been saying it for a while now, but just feel this one is going to pop up somewhere soon at a big price. Always thought it was worth another crack at this sort of trip and cannot discount at 40's.

Tuesday evening meetings have started over in South Africa and AT THE RACES, did cover them last year. Can't find any information for today, but still had a look through the card -

4:00 Turffontein - AQUABUOY and JUST A GIGOLO - A'B is the most exposed of these, but has been running well lately and LTO looks his best effort to date. Slight drop in trip a minor concern, but do see one of the fancied horses making it a decent gallop. JAG showed potential on debut and was noted staying on at the finish. Immediately upped in trip and would expect improvement at 25's.

4:35 Turffontein - A big run from the 1 horse would not surprise, but could not justify backing it at 5's. Gone with 3 instead, 2 of which are at EW prices -

SHELLY ( Good effort latest ,has fair form this track but needs to overcome draw/. 25's looks a shade big )
DYNAMITE LADY ( No show on debut, but nicely bred and stable / jockey have a good strike rate )
SYLVIANNA ( Quite short on debut and ran quite nicely. Would expect more today at 6's )

5:15 Turffontein - SEVENTH SYMPHONY - Had her issue last 2 runs, but does possess plenty of speed and is yet to finish out the frame in 4 C and D starts.

SCARE TACTICS ( Poor last time, but blinkers added and every chance at the weights. IMO 14;s looks big )
CONNAUGHT HOTEL ( Decent form, steps up in trip and big respect for this trainer / jockey combination
FASHION DANCER ( Minor improvement on 2nd and 3rd start and hoping this step up in trip brings about the major improvement that is needed. Interesting contender at 33's )

6:15 Turffontein - Third, Fourth an a NR so far over in South Africa, so pushing for a FC /TC here with 4 runners -

SHIRAZ CABERNET ( Fair form before a break and the booking of S'Manga Khumalo looks significant )
CHESSY ( Maiden win came here and decent effort last time )
EYE THE COUNTESS ( Decent win 3 ago and was made FAV last time out. Shade big maybe at 20's )
MISRISTOCRAT ( Not beaten that far latest over shorter, could show more if reproducing earlier form and if appreciating the extra )

Got a real " boil over " just not the one I wanted with a 66/1 shot beating out an 80/1 shot. Misristocrat (50's) and SC (25's ), both ran well finishing 5th and 6th. Other 2 very poor.

6:45 Turffontein - WET AUTUMN MIST - Should get plenty of pace to aim at and EW shout at 12's

7:45 Turffontein - PERFECT GRACE - Not a bad effort last time in better company and recent turf form pretty good. Has won at the track and often much shorter in this company, so the early 16's does look generous.

WET AUTUMN MIST opened 10's was backed into 9's and came through to win with a bit to spare.Pretty much rot for the rest of the card, but not too much damage done.
