4.40 Newcastle - STAR CRACKER - First sprint race on the new surface,so anyone's guess as to which way they go. SC is drawn 7, so can easily get across to either rail. Whatever happens with the draw he will need pace to aim at and should get this with LLEWELLYN in the field.
8.20 Killarney - ALAMGIYR - Plenty of promise in maidens, but very disappointing when made FAV on handicap debut a week ago. Heavy ground a possible excuse that day and certainly bred to be decent.
8.30 Huntingdon - VIRGO THE FIRST - Young Hunter Chaser who has won his last 2 Points and may still be improving. Jockey has looked decent under rules and looks fairly priced to me at 5's.
