Horse Racing Bets Tuesday 17th November

12:10 Lingfield - OH THIS IS US and POURQUOI MOI - OTIU was very green on debut and the early morning drift today not encouraging. Still, is very nicely bred and open to improvement, so basically could not resist the 25's on offer. PM improved on 2nd start and did not have the run of the race that day. That looks the best form on offer, so happy to go with the 6's. Top 3 in the betting all unraced a big performance from any / all would not surprise, but comfortable opposing them in the 2's - 3's range.

2:35 Southwell - FLORRIE BOY - Won his Bumper, but a shade disappointing since over hurdles. Immediately stepped up in trip for h'cap debut and would expect more today.

3:15 Fakenham - GENTLE MEL - H'cap debut, upped in trip, cheekpieces on and Tom Scudamore booked. Plenty of appeal at 8's.

3:35 Southwell - GABRIEL OATS - Not disgraced on either start in 2014 and has joined a stable that does get the odd big priced Bumper winner. Tough ask, back off a break, but it is the jockey's only ride of the day and happy to take the chance at 40's.

11:05 Vaal - Just saw there was an odds on in the race, so had a quick look and decided to oppose with these -

ROSE OF CASTILLE ( Often short and money around last time. Yet to really deliver, but better last time and EW appeal at 12's
SHANKLY GATES ( Been unlucky with the draw on most starts and best run came when well berthed and the jockey could get her settled. Hopefully the jockey can have her handy and a big run at 66's would not surprise me )
THREE TREES ( Much improved on 2nd run and certainly bred to be decent )
