Three i'm on for later...

Leic: 2.00 - WHITEHALL @ 17/2
I like the fact that this one has a couple of runs under his belt now. Only the fav' can say the same. Ran in a bog last time, up in trip with Ryan Moore booked now. Surely has place claims against mainly unraced 2yr olds over a mile? My best chance of the three imo.

Hunt: 2.20 - WAT A SHOT @ 16/1
Supposedly out of his depth here but it's not very often you see Nicky Richards make an 8 hour round trip with just one horse.

Leic: 3.30 - GOLDREAM - @ 12/1
Hasn't won for a while and this his first handicap in over three yrs. I like both the joc' and trainer. Been nibbled at in the market.

Good Luck with those Punt. Got a few today, both over here and in South Africa and certainly need to do better than yesterday's single place at 20's -

12.10 Vaal - Interesting opening contest and shocked to see STAR OF JOBURG as FAV and almost incredulous to see it at 11/8. Can see it all changing when the opening show comes out and can see any of 3 going off as favourite. Plenty of the unraced look dangerous and going with 2 of those, plus IMO ht best of the ones with experience -

AFDEEK ( Rare one of Exceed and Excel's over in SA and represents Mike DeKock. Certainly should be ready for debut at 5's )
RED INDY ( Drawn 17 of 17 and interesting to see which way he goes. Does like to be handy however, so might just grab a rail and go for it. Sets a fair form standard at 12's )
EMPEROR'S PRIZE ( Looks nicely enough bred and happy risking the early 100's on debut )

12.40 Vaal - Again going with 3 -

SESS ( 2 good and 2 bad from 4 to date and hopefully been freshened up b the small break. Can go well at 6's )
HARINGTON POET ( Best recent effort came over this c & d and always thought this one should be capable of better )
FAST AND LOUD ( Once raced and a possible improver at 100's )

1.55 Vaal - TWICE A DANCER - Stable 2nd string and IMO has not reached his potential yet. Today would be a nice time to fix that at 25's.

3.15 Vaal - GREASEPAINT - Bit to find at the weights, but capable on a going day. Was expecting 25's, so no choice but to have an EW at the early 40's.

3.40 Worcester - CORRIE LOCH - Has his issues, but makes h'cap debut today and would expect a better run today at 33's.

3.50 Vaal - OSCULATION - Has some form in better company and goes well for the jockey. Should be thereabouts at 5's.

4.25 Vaal - PRADA PRINCESS - Last time was her worst effort in a while, so the subsequent break looks suitable. Hopefully all the better for it and does have the form to get involved at 12's.

5.00 Leicester - KATEBIRD - Poor effort last time, but hoping that was a one off. Form prior to that looks fine and can make an impact at 16's in this lower grade.

5.10 Worcester - MOLE TRAP - Lightly raced for a 6yo and recent h'cap debut suggested that he can win races. Current 16's might prove a shade generous.

5.30 Leicester - AUSTERITY - Plenty t o prove on h'cap debut, but do believe the ability is there and no problem with the ground at 33's.

7.45 Kempton - DALALAH - Blinkers back on and for me, is well worth another crack at the trip. Not totally convinced by any of these, so happy going with the pick at 10's.

I get why the top 2 are so short, but not for me at the prices. Do agree with your logic so had a win bet on Whitehall. NIBRA'S GALAXY is the unraced one for me so gone with this one small EW at 33's, along with the Forecast

Good luck Samoan

I actually looked at Corrie Loch for some time last night before ruling it out. Now you've mentioned it i'm having a small punt.
Tom Symmonds only run at Worcs. He's been out of form of late but he's got decent form on local tracks.
