11.40 Turffontein - SAVE THE DAY and KILMOKEA - STD is the only older horse in the race, but not carrying that much more weight than the better 3yo's. Every chance at 6's. Kilmokea is lightly raced and was solid up until last time. Hopefully will bounce back at 12's.
12.15 Turffontein - WITCH KING - Nicely bred and possible improver at 20's.
1.55 Clonmel - BEGINNINGTOGIVEUP - Couple of fair efforts to date and looks a decent alternative to the odds on.
2.00 Turffontein - MANX PARK - Back off a break, poor draw and over too far last time. Should go better today at 14's.
2.30 Turffontein - SECRET STAR - Form chance and Strydom keeps the ride.
3.00 Turffontein - MR RAMBO - Raced wide last time and 3rd in the end was a fair effort. Repeat of that would be good enough at 8's.
5.00 Southwell - DARK PROFIT - Solid stable debut last time and something similar would see him go close.
5.25 Exeter - MOTUEKA - Shade disappointing on 2nd start, but bred to go well, so hoping that was just a blip. ITALIAN RIVER is a possible improver at 66's.
5.40 Wetherby - RED OCHRE - More needed than when fifth on debut but open to improvement and different ground here
