10.35 Vaal - Going with 3 in the opener -

ROMAN FLIGHT at 9's
SMART DUEL ( Newcomer ) at 10's
WIGGLE WIGGLE at 33's
 
11.10 Vaal - BLING BALL - Early indications are that the FAV is above average and whilst he may not need much more, is no value at odds on. BB returned to form last time, despite finishing well-beaten into 3rd. He was returning from a short ten week absence and got going late for 3rd behind two useful sorts. Will strip fitter today and a fair EW alternative at 20's.

11.45 Vaal - PIPERS MYTH - Those with experience set a fair standard, but do not look world beaters. PM is nicely bred and the stable can get one ready at 6's.

12.20 Vaal - BELL TOWER - One of the other unraced is short at 2's and the 2nd Fav also looks short based on debut run. BT looks nicely bred and hopefully can get involved on debut at 16's.

1.35 Vaal - LAURENT DU VAR - Bit more like it last time and remains lightly raced. Does go well fresh so 15 week break not a concern and for me, simply looks over - priced at 33's
 
3.30 Southwell - CODED MESSAGE - Once raced possible improver at 50's
 
Got a win from my 3 picks in the Vaal opener, but to be fair, the rest were poor.
