The Organist is an interesting one in the 2.20. B.Geraghty going to Leicester for just one ride (JP McManus).

Llantara in the 1.20 is the outsider @ 33/1 and has no real form but trainer Tom Symonds only sent one to Leicester 12 days ago and that won.

Got a few for the English meetings, but main focus is on South Africa -

10.55 Turffontein - EMPEROR'S FANTASY - Quietly fancied when she had a fair debut in the same event as the FAV three weeks ago. She has just over two lengths to find on that rival and whilst both should make natural improvement, I do prefer EF at the prices.

12.40 Turffontein - ERHARDT - May do better with the blinkers refitted, well drawn and EW squeak at 33's.

1.15 Turffontein - CHILI CON CARNE - Capable of challenging on current form, good prior win this c & d and Pierre Strydom takes the ride. Shade big possibly at 15/2.

2.30 Turffontein - NITRO CHARGE - Winning Debut and then faced a strong field second time out, could do better back in this company and definite potential at 18's.

12.05 Turffontein - ZOHAR and DRIVING RAIN - 10 runners, so not a bad race for a 33/1 and 100/1 shot. Zohar is nicely bred and can improve now blinkered on 3rd run. DR has hinted at ability, but mainly backing him on the booking of top young jockey Lyle Hewitson.

1.55 Turffontein - BALACAH and BLAZING WINTER - Pair of fair EW shouts, both at 18's.

1.40 Southwell - ELEGANTLY BOUND - Gelded since last run, though does have to prove himself on the surface and over the trip. Still expecting a decent run at 8's.

3.30 Wetherby - THE COBBLER SWAYNE - Open to improvement over fences, though will need to be near best after 9 months off.

4.10 Southwell - ROCKET RONNIE - Fibresand debut, though bred to go on it. Coming down the weights and interesting at 12's.

4.20 Leicester - KATIE'S HEN - Dropping down the weights and already halved in price from 18's down to 9's.

Unlucky in the 140 Samoan. looked to be the winner all the way

3.05 Turffontein - 3 EW shots, including one at a big price in the closer -

ALPINE GLACIER ( Suffered a mouth injury last time, so 13l loss was no surprise. All other career efforts solid and surprised by the 10's on offer )
KAPELLMEISTER ( Blinkers added and good record at the track. Last time was over too far, so happy to see the drop back in trip. Down to a mark of 74, top young claimer booked and don't understand the 50's on offer )
BARBEL RUN ( 3rd run back, nicely h'capped, top jockey booked and often thereabouts this c & d )

Over 2 hours in the racing post last night and i couldn't of been much further from a winner today. Terrible.
I'm back in for more punishment in a bit though.

Good shout with Chili Con Carne, Samoan. Some good placed calls too.
