Not much for me at Wolves tonight, so looking at the evening meeting over in South Africa -

4:55 Turffontein -

NOTORIOUS ( 3rd run back off a break and best 2 efforts have been this trip )
SCARE TACTICS ( Always looked to have ability and finally showed it LTO. Similar effort would see him go close )
ELUSIVE ELEGANCE ( Two poor runs to date, though poorly drawn both times. looking to improve for the blinkers and certainly bred to be decent. Probably worse 50/1 shots out there )

5:30 Turffontein -

TERAPOVA ( Much improved last two and Anthony Delpech takes the ride )
AVATARA ( Just the 2 pieces of worthwhile form from 8 runs, but bred to do better at some stage and hopefully they have abandoned the front running tactics. Do see her out - running her price of 100's )
TRULY EVELYN ( Nicely bred and has been noted running on over shorter. Well worth the try over 10f and could not discount at 50's )

6:00 Turffontein - First h'cap of the day and going with 3, all at EW prices. Also going Forecast / Tricast -

AFRICAIN ( Beaten a mile LTO on the sand, but should have a say on good prior form. Early 20's looks generous )
AQUA BLUE ( Holding his from quite well since last win, but does need a bit more today. Does take a drop in the ratings though and also has a decent 9lb claimer booked )
PERFECT GRACE ( Another who flopped on the sand last time, but some decent form before that, with most of it coming at this trip. 1 from 2 over C and D AND EW shout at the early 25's )

6:30 Turffontein - BE MINE TONIGHT and KWINTA - Both have a bit to find at the weights, but BMT looks too big at 25's and Kwinta, holds smart form and should strip fitter today.

7:00 Turffontein - FABERGE STYLE - Had some decent form early in her short career, but not fired yet this season. This is her 3rd run back however, so should be near peak fitness and looks a decent EW bet at 8's

5:40 Wolverhampton - SNOW DANCER - Admittedly an old favourite of mine, but has won twice this year of slightly higher marks and really should not be out at 33's.

7:40 Wolverhampton - FARRAH'S CHOICE - Did show ability when with Tim Easterby, but does have a bit to prove today for her new trainer. Step up in trip not an obvious choice, but out of a Danehill mare, so really should the Mile.

Just a couple of places so far, so could do with something here. True to form though gone with outsiders -

KAPELLMEISTER ( Poor last time, but 3 from 4 just prior to that.Tough horse to ignore over this C and D )
TALCA ( Lack off fitness told late on last time and should be fitter today )
TAMARIND ( Only beaten half a length on career debut, so not unduly worried about the 48 week break. Certainly a danger if fully wound up )
