11.15 Fairview - TROTSKA and HEIR TO RICHES - Not the strongest maiden ever and keen to oppose the FAV at 6/4. This pair are 8's and 9's respectively and should both be thereabouts.

12.15 Fairview - ELUSIVE MIST - Slow start and green on debut and then found to be coughing after improved 2nd run. Tries more ground, has scope for further progress and top young jockey booked, so happy risking the early 20's.

2.30 Newcastle - TENEREZZA - Well bred sort and interesting on debut for the Jardine yard.

4.00 Rasen - SCOOTER BOY - Pulled up on chase debut, so questions to answer, but hurdle form was on a decent level and would expext better today.

2 Meetings today in South Africa and having a dart in 6 of the 8 Turffontein races -

3.55 Turffontein - TRIBAL FORCE and ROMAN FLIGHT - Pair of nicely bred newcomers at 11's and 18's respectively.

4.25 Turffontein - REBECCA EVELYN - Not unfancied on debut and did hint at promise. One top jockey replaces another and would expect improvement at 22's.

4.55 Turffontein - EVENING BREEZE - Has work to do at the weights, but is 2 from 5 this c & d and has a good young jockey taking 3lbs off. Slow starts starting to creep and this is the major worry, but still has some scope at 40's.

6.25 Turffontein - RAFA - Poor latest after good signs previously. Remains nicely weighted and just hoping last time was a mere blip. Comfortable taking the chance at 12's.

6.55 Turffontein - HERMOSO MUNDO - Likes it here and generally fairly solid. Handicapper continues to give him a chance and should be on the premises at 7's.

7.25 Turffontein - Last rice so going with 4 and looking for the Forecast or even Tricast -

SILKEN ( 3rd run back off a break, solid recent form and down to a nice looking mark of 59. Fair EW shout at 10's )
CAPE INFANTA ( Should love tonight's rise in distance on her pedigree and may just be ahead of the h'capper )
BEAUTIFUL FLAUTIST ( Poor lately, but fair record this trip and should be staying on at the finish at 40's )
DALLEY ( Impoved latest, rises in trip, remains well below winning mark and no obvious reason why she should not be up there at 8's )
