10.35 Turffontein - PRINCE OF PEACE - Lightly raced and some form at this sort of level. Ultimately though this is a workriders maiden and gone with the best jockey at 12's.

12.20 Turffontein - ATOMIC BELLE - Poor recently, but couple of fair pieces of form prior to that and has the blinkers added. Hopefully that sparks her back to life at 33's.

12.55 Turffontein - MIESQUE'S RUMBA and REMINISCENCE - Both quite capable in this company, though both could be in better form. Improved run from one / both would not surprise at 16's and 14's respectively.

2.40 Turffontein - JUST A GIGOLO - Shade disappointing latest, but plenty of form at this level and this is his trip. Should be thereabouts at 7's.

2.00 Southwell - RYEDALE RIO - Plenty to prove, but bred to go on the surface and remains lightly raced. Been off since July, so fitness an obvious concern, but 5f on fibresand, may just prove ideal and could surprise at 50's, if able to lie handy.

2.20 Exeter - SHOOFLY MILLY - Decent front running sort and much more like it last time.

3.20 Exeter - BOSS IN BOOTS - Weak race so anything like his 2015 form would be more than enough. All 5 runners look a risk, so happy with this one at 7's.

4.50 Exeter - THE MAD WELL - 2 time winner in Ireland, but not much since coming over here. Dropped 9lb from 2 runs ago and does go on the soft, so possible EW at 14's.

2.50 Exeter - Oppposing the odds on with a trio of outsiders -

THEATRE ROUGE ( Best Bumper effort came on the ground and should prove better than her hurdle runs to date. Decent EW shout at 12's )
SAPPHIRE NOIRE ( Trainer in fair form and whilst disappointing so far, is bred to do better. Small EW at 66's )
LA MADRINA ( Would have preferred a substantial step up in trip, but certianly bred to do better at 100's )

3.30 Southwell - Combination FC / TC with these -

CAPTAIN REVALATION ( Won this last year and likely to run his race at 8's )
SHOWBOATING ( Been too long between wins, but is a decent fibresand sort )
AQUA ARDENS ( Arguably better on turf, but has some fair course form and good effort here last time )

OK day, with Just A Giggalo winning at 7's and Shoofly Milly, enjoying an all the way win at a well backed 3's. Got the winner of the 3.30 with Showboating, but sadly CR could only manage 3rd. RYEDALE RIO could be the one for the notebooks however as only beaten just under 2 lengths at 66's. First run since July, so should certainly come on for it and 5 1/2f on Soft or 6f on Fibresand may prove ideal.
