11.35 Vaal - EMMA KALEMA - Looks to have some ability and immediately dropped back down in trip. Upset potential at 66's.

12.10 Vaal - HARTINGTON PORT - Been with this one a bit lately and whilst has ability is starting to look exposed. That description would match a lot of this field however and don't like the look of the lighter raced ones. Solid looking chance for me at 7's.

12.45 Vaal - TWICE A DANCER and CHAMPIONS CUP - Both fit the " capable if inconsistent " description and one / both would threaten on a going day. Pair of EW shouts at 16's and 25's respectively.

1.25 Vaal - CHIEF SIOUX - Consistent form, though not as good last time must be respected though off a fair looking mark at 12's.

2.00 Vaal - SHEET WEAVER and STORM WARNING - SW's last 5 runs all read quite well and whilst upped in class today, does get a light weight instead. Anything close to recent form has him going close at 14's SM is nicely weighted is often thereabouts and should get enough pace to aim at. Should be finishing strongly at 16's

3.10 Vaal - JUST A GIGOLO - Moderate run last time after showing some earlier decent form. Has looked capable of winning off this sort of mark, so happy going with the 14's

1.00 Exeter - HITCHHIKER - Tough ask on debut, but solid NH pedigree and basically could not resist the 100's on offer.

1.25 Fairyhouse - RIVERDENE - Drift to 33's an obvious worry, but decent efforts in both [ Bumper ] starts to date and a should be a threat if taking to hurdles.

2.10 Wolverhampton - SWOT - Close 3rd last time under the same talented claimer and solid form plus the change of headgear offers plenty of hope at 9/2.

3.30 Fairyhouse - THEATRE RUN - Useful sort at this level, runs more good races than bad and should be thereabouts at 7's.

4.10 Wolverhampton - MICHICAN - Hard to know what to make of his French form, but was sent to Deauville for his 3rd start and this suggests that the ability is there. Awarded a mark of 75 and making his English debut today off a 6 Month break. Basically taking a " flyer " on this one at 16's.
