1:00 Fairyhouse - MALL DINI - Won his Bumper, but always had the look of a Jumper and should come on for his seasonal bow at Galway. Handles the heavy ground and should appreciate the stamina Test. Don't really get the 16's, so have to go in EW.

3:45 Fairyhouse - SMALL WORLD and LISS CROGA - Pair of 5/1 shots and happy with them " coupled " against the Mullins FAV.

3:50 Warwick - COMBE BREEZE - According to the RP, makes limited appeal on breeding. Certainly bred more for the flat, but for me a 1m6f Bumper distance looks ideal and both the sire and Dam's sire have produced winners in this sphere.

6:55 Kempton - GORDON LORD BYRON - Up against a couple of decent rivals, but don't get the discrepancy in price. GLB has a good record on the Poly and is always a threat at this level.

1:25 Kenilworth - REPERTOIRE - Not the best overall strike rate and not won for a while. Is very nicely h'capped on best form however and bit more like it last two. Probable front runner from stall 9 and could be tough to pass at 16's.

1:20 Chepstow - Race lacks any real depth, so difficult to oppose the odds on. That one has not really fulfilled his promise form Bumpers and initial hurdle run and does need to learn to settle better. Going with 3 to oppose it and hoping for the Forecast -

BISHOPS COURT ( 2nd hurdle run not bad, but otherwise pretty poor. Hood back on and IMO best of the rags at 50's )
MAXINISI - ( Nice debut and does look a fair prospect. Won't mind the ground either )
PRINCE MAHLER ( Best effort so far came here, though will need more today. Does have ability though and EW shout at 20's )

Got to the front, but just went too fast and had no hope of holding on. Only passed with 300m to go, but finished one from last, which shows just how badly he faded.

MAXINISI got up on the line to win. PM was 4th, with BC 5th, so all ran well.
