Horse Racing Bets Wednesday 19th July

No mention of it, but live racing begins on ATTHERACES at 12.15, so assuming some South African action -

11.30 Greyville - BAD ATTITUDE - Nicely bred newcomer at 3's

12.45 Greyville - DOCTOR'S ANSWER - Better effort latest and stable in form. Interesting at 20's.

1.20 Greyville - LIBERTY MARKET - Continues his run of bad draws, but capable on a going day and lurking off a dangerous looking mark. EW squeak at 40's

3.05 Greyville - SECRET SUCCESS - Respectable effort last time in a better grade and h'capped to go close at 7's

1.55 Greyville - VAR DU BOIS and CAT IN COMMAND - VDB would have needed the run last time, so 3rd was a fair effort. Not much improvement needed, so should be thereabouts at 7's. CIC takes a welcome drop in the ratings and does hold some useful form. Not sure the early 16's will hold.

2.30 Greyville - ROY IS SECOND and EARHART - RIS has been a bit below par lately, but is very useful at this level. Has a good record at the trip, goes well for the jockey and is down to a winnable mark. Short at 4's, but this looks about right. Earhart is more speculative at 40's, but is better than last 3 runs suggest and does pack a finish over this trip.

3.00 Uttoxeter - BALLYGROOBY BERTIE - Never been the most consistent, but looks a live threat at 12's.

5.15 Uttoxeter - I'M BRITISH - Decent Bumper debut and whilst the 1st and 2nd that day were huge prices, the form has been franked several times over. Been off a while, but comfortable at 20's

8.00 Killarney - OUT OF AFRICA - Quite stoutly bred and did win his Point at the 2nd attempt. Fair debut under rules in a Bumper, but disappointed over hurdles last time. Questions to answer therefore, but Colin Bowe is a good trainer and he has put Rachel Blackmore up. Could be anything really, but happy risking the 25's

8.30 Killarney - CONDUCT YOURSELF - Under - rated trainer likes a winner here and this one holds enough form to go close at 5's
