10.10 Scottsville - FLAMBOYANT - Nicely bred sort and she is her jockey's only ride on the card. Early 14's might prove too big.

10.40 Scottsville - BLAZING HEART - Philanthropist is developing into a top sire and represents top connections. Not convinced by those with a run, so happy with BH at 5's.

12.10 Scottsville - ROMAN EMPEROR - No natural pacemaker in the field, but this one is solid to date and remains lightly raced. Could choose to go to the front from stall one, but does not have to.

2.40 Scottsville - MOLLY KOOL - Lightly raced, tries the blinkers and takes a drop in trip. Disappointing to date and stable 2nd string, but not sure the early 66's is justified.

12.50 Scottsville - Combination FC / TC with these -

KINGSMEAD ( Lightly raced, 2nd run back off a break and 1/1 this c & d. Not sure where the 25's comes from )
MASTER SAM ( Single figure price last 5 starts and got within 3 lengths each time. Edges down to a rating of 59 now and really should be involved at 7/2 )
COLD SHOT ( Moderate form out of the maidens, but already dropped to 57 and could try to lead all the way. All or nothing sort at 33's )

1.30 Scottsville - Couple of " rags " amongst the 3 picks, so FC / TC would be very profitable -

ROCKET MASTER ( New to the region and takes a much needed drop in trip. Back off a break, but down to a mark of 55 and this gives him every chance at 10's )
BIG BIRD ( Lurking on a dangerous mark and should get the pace he needs this trip. EW squeak at 33's )
SYLVAN JET ( 3rd run back after a break. Must show more than recent form, but sole win came this trip and not sure anything should be 100/1 this field )

2.05 Scottsville - Competitive h'cap and can't have the top 3 at the prices. Gone with these instead, all at EW prices -

QUINTELLA ( Always prefer to see this one over 6f and capable of decent form this level. Goes on the ground, looks nicely weighted and should prove dangerous at 10's )
DEVON BELLE ( Moderate latest, chance if repeating penultimate run and finally took a small drop in the ratings. About right at 12's )
ROY'S ZAIRE ( Glad to see her dropped back to 6f and sole career win came this c & d. Still quite lightly raced for a 5yo and has the draw in one if they want to go from the front )

2.00 Musselburgh - LANDMARQUE - Jumping is becoming an issue in chases but this course ( hurdle ) winner is a player if minimising errors.

4.20 Ffos Las - HENLLAN HARRY - Placed twice this winter but ran poorly latest; blinkers/tongue-tie replace visor and big chance if change of headgear works.

4.40 Wincanton - LADY LONGSHOT - Much closer in fifth on handicap debut at Exeter, when only fading on the run-in. Every chance with a repeat.

4.50 Ffos Las - WELL SMITTEN - Much better on 2nd start and should come on again. Leading player at 3's.

6.00 Newcastle - PACOMMAND - Failed to land a blow on stable debut, but with the right handler and should be capable of better at 16's

2.10 Wincanton - AN SILTEAN and THIS IS IT - Assuming that both are capable of better and 20's and 25's respectively.

11.10 Scottsville - SHE'S PERFECT - Chaos in the stalls, means 3 late scratches and a big delay. Was not going to bother before that, but down to 10 runners now and this one appeals at 28's. Upped in trip and ground looks fine, so definitely intersting to see how she goes. Next few races now live on ATTHERACES.

Bit disappointing all in all, but still 2 winners and 4 places. Winner, but no Forecast in the 1.30 was one disappointment, as was procuring 2nd, 4th and 5th, in the 2.05.
