Early start today with live action on ATTHERACES from both Hong Kong and South Africa -

11.00 Greyville - THE NORTH FACE - Never seriously put in the race on debut, but much more prominent on 2nd start and stayed on well for 4th. Can't knock the form of that either with runner-up Scrabble and 3rd placed finisher Draughlin winning their maidens subsequently. Short at 4's, but tough to argue with that, especially with a top young claimer booked.

11.35 Greyville - BOLD BEAUTY - Represents a top stable, but is the 2nd string today on debut. Certainly bred to be decent and happy taking the chance at 50's

12.10 Greyville - BRAVE CRUSADER - Another newcomer, this time ridden by one of the Country's top jockeys. Not convinced by those with form ( ASIAN STAR at 3's would be the best for me ) so comfortable going in at 40's

12.50 Greyville - SPRING LIGHTNING and CLASSIC GUARD - SL improved on 2nd start and has hopefully been refreshed by the short break. Certainly should improve again at 16's. CG is yet another debutante and has a nice draw to work with at 50's.

1.25 Greyville - CHAMBER MAID - Holding her form pretty well and has more than enough to go close at 7's

2.40 Greyville - SAINT MARCO - Stable in top form and this one ran a nice race last time and remains well weighted. Was expecting something in the 3's - 4's range, so very happy with the 6's on offer.
