10 race card so a bit of an early start over in South Africa. Live coverage at Lunchtime from Greyville ( alongside Happy Valley ) and looks like there will be 3 races live on the Poly. Had a look at the earlier races as well and it does look like there should be some value -

10.25 Greyville - BRIDAL VEIL and TWEED VALLEY - Decent debut from BV and should improve for his top trainer. Short at 7/2, but tough to argue with that. TV has disappointed twice since debut run, but initial effort had promise and good chance at 20's if reproducing that.

10.55 Greyville - GREAT DICTATOR and RUBY TRADER - Pair of live outsiders at 28's and 40's respectively.

11.25 Greyville - EXPEDITE - Represents top connections and does look a nicely bred debutante at 12's.

12.00 Greyville - SHEZA ROCKSTAR - Won her maiden on debut and then made a fair first foray into h'cap's when a close up 5th. Interesting today at 16's, with more improvement possible.

12.35 Greyville - WINTER AURALIUS and AGUSTINA - WA is a fair polytrack performer, with every chance at 13/2 on best form. Agustina is drawn wide, but is capable on a going day. Looked in need of his last 2 runs and should strip fitter today at 28's.

1.10 Greyville - LET'S GO WEST - Would have needed the run last time when tiring late and is both a capable and speedy sort. May just try to make all at 20's.

1.50 Greyville - AMAZON KING - Lots of pacy sorts in the field and hoping they go too quick up front. This one looks the main beneficiary from such a scenario and does look a shade big at 14's

2.25 Greyville - CAPTAIN CHAOS - Nicely h'capped sort, who found a bit of form last time and really should not be far away at 7's.

12.45 Happy Valley - GOLDEN DEER - Useful sort when in the mood, though bit disappointing lately. Winnable class 4 though and does make EW appeal at 18's.

1.45 Happy Valley - DUTCH WINDMILL - Bit better latest and is a capable horse at Class 4 level. Not shown enough since winning 5 ago to be too confident, but happy risking the 40's

3.00 Yarmouth - ESSPEEGEE - Best effort in handicaps came in final 2016 start and excuses here latest. Remains lightly raced and a better performance would not shock at 16's

5.10 Lingfield - FLOWER CUP - Decent debut, but nothing since and hopefully been saved for her h'cap debut today at 16's

6.00 Wexford - JULIE'S LUCK - Shockingly poor contest , so gone with one that at least has a soupcon of ability at 7's

6.30 Wexford - JUST JANICE - Looks on a fair mark for h'cap / stable debut. Ought to be thereabouts at 6's

7.30 Wexford - ALL IN THE HEAD and ALI BIN NAYEF - AITH needs to prove that she can be as effective on better ground having won on soft latest, but is at least in form. ABN makes her Irish debut, having proved a decent dual purpose sort in England.

9.00 Wexford - CHATEAUNEUF DU PAP and BATTLE HARD - CDP ran better when stepped up in trip on his reappearance and should have more to come at 6's. BH is more speculative, but the trainers Bumper history offers hope at 40's.
