Once again live action from South Africa and Hong Kong is on ATTHERACES from 12.15pm. Had a look at both and going with the following -

12.15 Happy Valley - ARTISARIA at 16/1

12.45 Happy Valley - GOAL FOR GOLD at 10/1

1.40 Kenilworth - DESERT LARK - Best of the " rags " for me at 25/1

2.15 Happy Valley - GRACYDAD at 12/1

2.20 Kenilworth - COCK A HOOP at 9/2

2.55 Kenilworth - SHIZAM at 7/1

3.30 Kenilworth - BLACKMORE at 20/1

12.30 Kenilworth - 3 EW shots in this big field Maiden -

SIBERIAN HUSKY
( Promise on debut and decent claimer booked. Possible improver at 20's )
COMMISSIONER ( Got within 7 Lengths on debut and bred to do better at 40's )
SUNSET CLAUSE ( A not unfancied 12/1 on debut and another potential improver at 50's )

1.05 Kenilworth - DESTINY DUCHESS and RAISE YOUR HAND - DD only hinted at promise on debut, but ought to be capable of better at 8's. RYH again needs to improve, but has an elite jockey up for the first time and could easily go well at 16's.

4.05 Kenilworth - Again going with 3 in the closer -

HARVEY SPECTOR ( Soild enough at 10's, but does need the blinkers to work to take the win )
SIR CLIFF ( Short, but ultimately disappointing on debut. Should fare better today at 10's )
NORSE GOD ( Gelded since last run and good young claimer booked. Better effort at 100's would not shock )

3.00 Carlisle - FLEETING VISIT - In fair form and the cheekpieces return. Course could easily suit and solid EW at 14's.

3.30 Carlisle - DARK DEVIL - Hanagan deserts him, but back down in trip and previous C & D effort was a fair one. Possible dark horse at 20's.

7.20 Naas - I WILL EXCEL - Strike rate could be better, but often thereabouts and comes here in good form. Should be in the mix again at 11/2.

8.00 Bath - MIRACLE GARDEN - Better effort last time and does look a live threat getting weight all round.

8.20 Naas - MULTIVIZ and GREAT UNCLE - The latter is probably going to pop up somewhere soon off this sort of mark and hopefully that will be today at 20's. GU bumped into some smart sorts in his maidens and really could be anything at 25's

Very easy to sum these up. Pretty crappy with the exception of 22/1 winner BLACKMORE and 14/1 2nd FLEETING VISIT. Made the mistake of backing Aussie Sam Clipperton in 2 races over in Hong Kong, but gonna think twice before doing so again. Looked clueless on ANTISARIA when at the front from an early stage and pretty much did nothing to even attempt to win. Was also poor on GOAL FOR GOLD, though not sure if he was bullied out of it or just was not bothered.
