Domestic action on ATTHERACES this afternoon, but also showing Kenilworth and Happy Valley -

11.55 Kenilworth - MARK'S GLORY - Moderate debut, but fitter now and should show improvement. FAV makes no appeal at 6's on and for me, this is the only viable alternative.

12.15 Happy Valley - THE FULL BLOOM and EMPEROR VICTORY - Bit of comparitive form to go on and ended up with these 2.
 
12.30 Kenilworth - Gone with one sensible one and a pair of outsiders in this Maiden -

COME ON SONNY ( Draw to overcome, but improved again in latest, lightly raced and has form claims )
SILVER MASTER ( Fair latest this trip, lightly raced, bagged top draw and the early 33's makes no sense )
BORN ON A BLUE DAY ( Poor debut this c & d, should be better for that though, well drawn, represents top trainer and possible improver at 40's )
 
1.05 Kenilworth - Generally sensible prices, so looking for the forecast / tricast -

CATKIN ( Holding form well, must be considered over this c & d from good draw )
TOMBA LA BOMBA ( Throws in the odd slow start and disappointed last time. Capable on a going day however and drops in the weights, so happy going in EW at 20's )
BLACKMORE ( Some good efforts this track and remains in good form )
 
1.50 Kenilworth - SUNSET EYES - Did not get the run of the race in latest against stronger. Is a contender on impressive prior maiden win though and looks about right at 8's.

2.25 Kenilworth - WESTERN STORM - 2nd run back, so should strip fitter now. Generally consistent form and handicapper not punishing said consistency.

3.00 Kenilworth - WINTER PRINCE and STAR CHESTNUT - Hefty weight could stop WP, but too big at 16's. Consistency has been the watchword for SC recently and looks a big danger with top jockey up.

3.30 Kenilworth - GIVE IT AWAY - Improved with every start and remains lightly raced, could show more over the extra ground and maybe a shade big at 6's. FLYING GITANO has shown bits to date and not sure he should be an early 66's.
 
12.40 Lingfield - 3 of the shorter ones, so no win bets, just FC / TC -

12.45 Happy Valley - MR PICASSO - Won over 6f at Sha Tin on his seasonal debut and ran well next start under penalty. Chance if building on that.
 
1.20 Ffos Las - STAR TACKLE - Winning Pointer , who made a fair debut under rules and should improve for that.

1.30 Catterick - BOETHIUS - 9 runners, so decent race for an EW punt. This one has only ever shown promise, but should improve for recent hurdle debut and for me, is the most likely " rag " at 50's.

2.00 Catterick - VALLEY OF MILAN - Return came over hurdles and that should have blown some of the cobwebs away. Dangerous back over fences in a race where he was 2nd last year.

3.30 Catterick - ITS ALL ABOUT ME - Just 11/2 on disappointing debut and certainly bred to be better than that. Obviously risky, but happy going with the 25's.

3.40 Lingfield - DTRIPLESEVEN - Down a couple of pounds and the return to 2m should suit. Respectable efforts recently and certainly one of the form choices.
 
Couple of winners on the day, though at 6/5 and 11/2 there will be no prizes for bravery. Also had a 2nd that just got collared on the line, plus a well beaten runner up. There was also a quartet of 3rd places, with SILVER MASTER at 25's and ITS ALL ABOUT ME at a very surprising 66's, both making good profit
