Horse Racing Bets Wednesday 8th March

International action from South Africa and Hong Kong starts live on ATTHERACES. Looks like the first 5 races from Scottsville will be shown and focussing my attention there -

11.05 Scottsville - Had a quick look prior to the prices coming out and my initial thought was the debutante MOJO KING. Could not get involved at 7/4 though and instead gone with a combination forecast with the following 3 -

ANGEL LANDING ( Bounced back to form with a smart c & d effort last time. This looks slightly weaker, so leading chance at 5's )
ST PETER'S BAY ( Better signs in latest, stable in form, could pose a threat at 10's if fit after 27 wk break )
RACE MASTER ( Better than last two runs suggest and happy for the return to 7f. Shade big maybe at 8's )

11.40 Scottsville - PATROCLUS - Good latest despite jumping out awkwardly, chance with stronger jockey up and should be thereabouts at 8's.

1.30 Scottsville - PAINT THE WAY - Won her maiden nicely and then was a nicely backed FAV on h'cap debut. Bit of a flop there however and does need to bounce back. Lightly raced though and hopefully capable of returning to form at 20's.

2.05 Scottsville - LONELY ARETHEBRAVE - Disappointing latest but was made FAV last two races and has leading claims on decent prior form.

2.40 Scottsville - BOTTLENOSE - MISS MIDAS, going to come good one day, but frankly sick and tired of waiting. Bottlenose is nicely bred, lightly raced and ought to be capable of better at 12's.

12.20 Scottsville - SARAH'S SECRET - Did not have much interest in this race to start with, but on 2nd look, not sure SS should be 14's. Admittedly was poor only try this trip, but they did too much with her in the early stages that day and not surprisingly she weakened out of it. Remains lightly raced and worth another crack over the 7f.

3.00 Lingfield - DIXIE'S DOUBLE - Disappointing on h'cap debut and then no better on Southwell return in January. Did not look an obvious Fibresand sort on breeding and possible that Polytrack will suit better. Risky, but still interesting at 25's.

4.30 Lingfield - SALVATORE FURY - Fair sort at this level and looks just enough pace in the race to suit. Decent EW at 10's.

5.20 Catterick - ITS ALL ABOUT ME - Improved on 2nd start " against the boys " and similar improvement has her going close, back among her own sex.

7.15 Kempton - STREET ART - Sole win came this c & d and decent effort last time out. Never been the easiest to predict, but happy taking the risk at 14's.
