Monaghan overpriced @10/1 can't see them winning but gave Shamrock rovers a scare last week.
St Pats and Sligo double @ 1.74 Small bet.
Longford, Finn Harps and Drogheda Trixie 4 pt total stake returns 40 main bet.

Drogheda V Dundalk

Said last week that it would pay to go against Dundalk for the first few rounds of matches and after last weeks defeat by Pats I expect another loss tonight up in Hunky Dory Park (Worst named football ground in the world). Drogs had a decent win last week down in Cork and have a full squad to choose from this evening. Unfortunately it looks like they will have our measure this evening. Dundalk vert light up front and also missing our captain Chris Shields.
Verdict: Drogheda @Evens
Waterford V SD Galway
Waterford were hammered 6-0 in their opening game of the season but they were much better last week in beating Limerick and they should have far too much for SD Galway this evening.
SD Galway were known as Salthill Devon last season and got thrashed 8-0 by Waterford in the league. We probably won't see eight goals this evening but I'll be surprised if the home team don't win quite comfortably.
Verdict: Waterford HT-FT @Evens

May the force be with us Swoops. Hopefully we shall be successful in our bets and receive money from the dear bookmakers which we will spend tomorrow on St Patrick's day as we cheer the Irish rugby team on in Twickenham. Altogether now: Ireland, Ireland, together standing tall.:beer

I havent checked the results yet as I've only just got in, but I fear you have the wrong idea about me, PH :unsure

0-0 the Drogheda game. No worries Pighead, Irish have been doing me all week :lol

Verdict: Drogheda @Evens :unsure
Verdict: Waterford HT-FT @Evens:)
1 from 2. Drogs bet was dead in the water when they got a man sent off midway through the second half. They actually ended up getting two men sent off. Dundalk played the last 15 minutes against nine men but their lack of firepower up front meant they had to settle for a draw. We still haven't scored this season. Waterford won but was a lot tighter than I thought it'd be.

Disappointed you won't be cheering for Ireland today Swoops. I know you're English and all that but today's St Patrick's Day and you should be celebrating all things Irish. 22-19 victory for our boys.

That smilie is a tad unsettling. I'm outta here! Enjoy the match Swoops. May the best team in green win.
