Ignoring the mundane FA Cup, I've taken a couple of picks amid the glamour of God's Own League.
Southend 4/5 v Port Vale, general
A slightly risky one as Southend are amid a slight wobble - one win in six. However, Port Vale are in a bit of a mess, with finances meaning all their loanees - including four goals in five Guy Madjo (in fairness most of them against Aldershot )- being sent back to their host clubs. They're without their 'keeper (injured) and several others are either out or doubtful. it could be a very threadbare Port Vale side, who have lost two in a row and have no wins against sides in the top nine.
Oxford DNB 4/5 at Aldershot, general
Oxford have only conceded once in five games, and that against leaders Crawley. Aldershot are decent at the back - although we might be a little makeshift at centre back tomorrow - but have scored only twice, and have four points, from seven games. Clearly we're going to struggle up front, particulatly if Rankine and Hylton are both unfit and I suspect Oxford will have too much for us, but I do want to take account of a low scoring draw.
