Swapping shifts today a lass told me she'd had a tip for the 3.05

BODIE @ DOYLE is a bit of a price (8 runners). Currently 20/1,
i've not gone mad on it but the lass reckons her tip man doesn't ring up that often,he has today.
I've played 3 and 4 places on it too.

Lol, reminds me of the old days when there was always somebody at work who now and again got a tip from somebody in the 'know' who knew somebody who worked at the stables or knew a mate of the trainer,
They rarely came in but we always backed them and passed on the knowledge, was great when they came in mind.

I remember passing one such tip to a mates dad who I saw in the bookies, I passed on my 'in the know' tip and he said Cheers I'll bung £30 quid on it, I'm supposed to be out buying the wife a birthday present but i'll bung it on the horse instead, that was a lot of money in the 80's
I fcuking shite myself and left saying 'goodluck Ray', thinking I'll have to change pubs because I drank in his local.

It romped home at 20/1 and I was on free ale next time I saw him in the boozer, bastard also told me it wasn't his wifes birthday money
