Saudi Arabia do need a win but i cant see it still Australia have still named a strong side
Mark Schwarzer (GK), Jade North (RB), Lucas Neill (c)(CB), Sasa Ognenovski (CB), Matthew Spiranovic (LB), Brett Emerton (RM), Mark Bresciano (ACM), Mark Milligan (DCM), James Troisi (LM), Harry Kewell (S), Alex Brosque (S).
Thats a decent squad yes theres no Kennedy or Cahill but still a good team there and they should still win without the two, Saudi Arabia will have to go for it at some point and thats where Aussies can catch them on the counter attack. Aussies at home last lost at home in 2009 thats 19 matches unbeaten. In there last 5 Games at home they have kept 4 clean sheets and only conceded 3 in 10 at home.
Saudi Arabia away have won only 1 in there last 5 which was against Hong Kong also drawn there last 3 in a row 0-0. I do think it will be a tight game but the aussies are a good price imo, im also going to put in another couple of teams as well Oman need a win to have any chance of qualifying and there not to bad at home and are superior to Thailand so should win and at a decent price 1.50. Other value i see is backing Uzbekistan in the 10.30 game against Japan on the handicap there top of the group and with Japan already through as well this match is a dead rubbed. Uzbekistan are a mighty 13.00 to win but i think a draw or a 1 goal loss so handicap ill take so here are my bets
Aussies £20 @ 1.72
Aussies HT/FT £20 @ 2.75
Aussies/Oman/Uzbekistan +1.5 £10 @ 5.37
Aussies HT/FT - Oman - Uzbekistan +1.5 £5 @ 8.35
