Almost half way through the season, so not a bad time to post. My team the Oakland Raiders, have had their bye week and stand at 3 wins and 3 losses. Considering they lost their first 10 last year, this is some improvement. Sky Sports have finally noticed this and the Raiders v Jets game is live on Sky Sports 2 at 9:05 pm. In terms of bets, just had a few fancy first Touchdown scorer bets along with some scorecasts. The Jets are a tough side, but am hoping that home advantage swings things in favour of the Silver and Black

First TD Scorer

CLIVE WALFORD ( Oakland ) at 18's - Tough matchup for the Wide receivers, so thinking they may look to get their top Tight End into play
ANDRE HOLMES ( Oakland ) at 20's - 3rd string receiver, so should not be up against their better defenders
TAIWAN JONES ( Oakland ) at 35's - 2nd string Running back and also the kick off returner. Certainly has the speed to " break one "
JEREMY KERLEY ( NY Jets ) at 14's - In the interest of balance, thought I better put up a Jet. Not their most well known player, but is a capable receiver

Shaky start on Defence, but kept the Jets to a Field Goal. Oakland went down the other end and Andre Holmes caught the First Touchdown. Would swap that for a guaranteed win mind, but at least got a few quid out the game. 7 -3 Raiders at the end of the First Quarter.

21 - 6 at the Half. Seen too much garbage over the Years to be confident, but the Raiders do get first possession 2nd half, so hopefully they can score and eat up some clock.

34 - 20. Not time to panic just yet, but have a foreboding feeling, that time will come soon.

Pretty poor ending from both with the Jets unable to score and the raiders unable to run out the clock. Some horrible play calling from the Raiders on offence that did give the Jets chances with the ball.

FINAL SCORE - Raiders 34 Jets 20.

Got the first TD scorer up and Andre Holmes went on to score again. Taiwan Jones also scored a Touchdown, making a lot of guys miss on a tremendous long run. Had the Raiders been able to keep the momentum then the Holmes Scorecasts could have come into play at huge odds with the worst being Andre Holmes (OAK Raiders) to Score First Touchdown and OAK Raiders by 31-36 @ 450/1. Still more than happy with the result and the Raiders now have 4 wins and are firmly in the play off picture. Huge game next week with the Pittsburgh Steelers and that's a rivalry that dates back to the 70's and the famous " Immaculate Reception "
