Odds William Hill

Taken Bradford, decent price 7/4, they've been away sunning themselves and should be putting the cup run to one side and concentrating on the league for a while now.

Good luck Punter :crossfingers

Very little from me this week. The teams I fancy are a little short. I've gone for a speculative couple of units on the draw at Plymouth (12/5, Bet365) mainly on the grounds that I can't separate two out of form teams.

I may be on Exeter depending on teams; Aldershot may have to field someone out of position at left back.

:dance

Comiserations to Punter; slightly unlucky there

Gillingham are vulnerable at home, while Wycombe are sixth in the last eight form table. I'm tempted by Wycombe double chance at 13/10; Gillingham just seem a litle short at 4/6 and this looks the sort of game that could be a banana skin. Does Mr rcgills have a view?

It's certainly true our home form has been dodgy of late, although we did at least get back to winning ways last week against Northampton. Cody McDonald has picked up where he left off a couple of seasons ago for us though, 2 in 2 since his return on loan (having scored somewhere in the region of 25 in 40 last time he was with us), and an out-and-out goalscorer is probably something we've lacked so far this season.

As for Wycombe, fair enough they're in good form, but looking closer at the teams they've played, the run is maybe not quite as impressive as it first looks. Last 6 away games, wins at Rotherham (fair enough, a good result, but then Rotherham have lost 7 at home already this season), Plymouth and Accrington (both bottom 5 sides), a draw at bottom side AFC Wimbledon, and then losing 3-1 at Northampton and 4-0 at Cheltenham.

Not sure what the actual stats would reveal in this respect, but in my head it seems that Gills tend to do poorly when live on TV (and also when playing in front of large crowds at home).

Don't really know what to think for this game, not one I'll be betting on myself. The only thing I can say for certain is I wouldn't go anywhere near Gillingham at 1.57, I'd certainly rather be on the X2 at 2.3 than the home win at 1.57.

Would normally wish you luck if you go for the double chance, but I'm sure you'll understand if I don't on this occasion :wasnme

Thanks rc; still gone for the 2X at 13/10, but with a much smaller stake than I'd otherwise have invested. Not because I don't think Gillingam won't win, but because we both seem to think the value lies witrh Wycombe.

Having said I wasn't betting on the game, I've decided to have a couple of bets for a bit more interest, taken Charlie Lee and Adam Barrett for first (21 and 29 respectively), last (same prices) and anytime (8 and 11) scorer. And also both teams to score in a double with the overs in tonight's Spanish Segunda division game.

Good call ThunderCelt, Wycombe deserved it too, we were fucking awful tonight :rant
