I've gone for an unders bet in the game between Sheff Utd and Stevenage. Stevenage have just crept into the last play off place, clear by 2pts and to stay there the plan of attack must be to get a point here and a win at home to Bury next week. I think they'll be as defensive for as long as they possibly can here. Another reason for my unders bet, and i rarely do this type of bet ( i hate the unders overs market tbh) is the question... how will Utd fare in front of goal for now they have lost Ched Evans?

I think Exeter will make the longest journey in the English leagues today and get relegated in the process, i've taken Carlisle, who will see this as a must win in their play off battle.

I've also taken Wycombe at home to Notts County, County blew a big chance last week in their play off push and i'm wondering how that will affect them. Wycombe are fighting for their lives but the fact that are are decent odds for the home in this situation made me chance them. Dodgy, but chanced.


Two other teams that i'm on start their play off plans today....

It doesnt matter what Milton Keynes and Huddersfield do in the next 2 games they will be facing each other in the play offs, over two legs. What they should be doing now is playing for home advantage in the 2nd leg by who finishes the highest, usually a big factor in the play offs.
Both are on the same points, both face similar opposition away and then at home (both teams have two fixtures v bottom half of table clubs), Dons have the better goal diff.

Dons go to bottom/relegated Rochdale this week,Town go to Walsall (who are still fighting for survival admittedly) but they are down there for a reason. Both finish their season off with home games.
I dont think they'll be any resting of players, this is where their promotion push really starts. I've backed both of them and will do next week too.

yep,thats a good bet there Punter.
This was a game I set my sights on as soon the owls got that late winner against carlisle.
There are only about 20-30 games a year that Ill actually watch for betting prposes and this is def 1 of them.
Theres 1 other very important factor(or it may be)-the fact that the owls result at bees will be known!!
Just imagine the pressure on blades in this game if olws have won!!!
But what if owls have lost,sure thered be much less pressure but then theyd know that 1 point from the game would mean 1 point at exeter could be enough and they might be more cautious.....anyway Ill be waiting for events at bees before deciding my bets on this..altough I would personally much rather bet on 0-0 on betfair(and 1-1) and hedge in running..if possible.
I think the main danger to your bet Punter is if Stevenage are 1 up with 30 mins to go when of course blades will throw the kitchen sink at em... I also think 0-1 and 0-2 on betfair will probably be value but havnt looked yet.

Sheffield Wednesday for me....Brentford have blew their chance of the playoffs although still mathematically possible. Wednesday must win to keep up their hopes for automatic promotion.
