Considering Tuesday is near enough a full progamme I can't see much that takes my eye :thinking, but I'll be having some relatively small bets:

Bristol Rovers/draw double chance, 21/20, Hills, 4 units (edit to put in correct odds)

Shrewsbury have been impressive at home this season, with ten wins and three draws in their thirteen games. However, Rovers continue to make strides following the appointment of Mark McGhee, and have only dropped two points in the last five games and at last are getting the results the squad's ability suggests they're capable of.

Team news favours Shrewsbury marginally I think, and the Shrews' fantastic home record can't be ignored, but I think there's enough about Bristol for them to come away with something. Mid-table motivation shouldn't be a problem - Rovers' management haven't ruled out the play-offs.

Crewe v Burton - over 2.5, 8/11, Sky, 4 units

Slightly stingy odds, but it's a bet that generally comes in for both sides as they like to attack. In addition, Crewe are without their normal centre half pairing (both sent off last time out), and Burton could have top scorer Billy Kee back.

Swindon DNB v Crawley, 4/5, Bet365, 4 units

The evening's big game (after Aldershot v Hereford, of course :wink). Swindon have been imperious at home with nine wins out of twelve, and one of the current form teams.

Crawley are too consistent to say the wheels have come off and they were apparently impressive in beating Cheltenham last time out. They have dropped a lot of points to draws recently and I think the momentum is with Swindon.

Swindon are without Flint, who a straw poll on our message board puts as L2's top defender. Crawley on the other hand are starting life without Matt Tubbs. Sanchez Watt had a good first game as his replacement, but I still think losing Tubbs is a big blow.

My God Thundercelt, this is my biggest Valentines Day for years!,lol.

Swindon v Crawley,Hammers v Saints,Terriers v Blades,Cheltenham v Torquay and Brum v Hull plus the no. of goals Messi does or doesnt score(if that ones today) all have huge implications for my antepost accas:eek:.

I fear youre correct about Swindon and ,even worse, the racing post have tipped Crawley(theyre usually wrong!)
I really think this is the championship decider-unless its a draw of course.
Basically,I need Crawley to win the lge IF Utd win the prem.
I also really believe that Huddersfield NEED to beat blades for automatic prom.
Southampton appear to have turned a corner and it will be very interesting to see how they do at hammers.

But,whatever happens, the one thing thats guaranteed is that come 9.15 pm I shall be a bit pissed...and alone but if the results have gone well.....

Sadly,as I say,I am expecting the worst-damn the racing post.

Good Luck TC

My really big worry about Crawley, & I havent touched anything in this division, is them taking their eye off the ball due to the FA Cup on sunday. I think theyeve got a real chance in that with Stoke having lost 4 on the bounce & playing Valencia thursday

Hello Hotspur, good to see you. The antepost advice you gave seemed sensible to me and I've used quite a lot of it in the antepost bets I've been putting on over the last few weeks. Hopefully I'll be in a position to owe you a pint at the end of the season :beer . I still don't grasp the advantage of doing anteposts in multiples though :thinking

Anyway, back to L2 and the bets that didn't quite make it for me were Dagenham to get a draw (on the basis of value rather than liklihood!) and Torquay to get something at Cheltenham (due to team news), Bradford (too short) and Aldershot (too short). B365 are covering several matches in play tonight which makes a pleasent change for L2 :yahoo

Well, thanks very much for that TC.Makes up for Swindon winning:).
Be very interesting to see what their price will be-4-5?,10-11 at best.Tricky one so dont quote me.

Absolutely intrigued to read that you dont get the point of(antepost) accas! Why its to make more profit by multiplying your edge.

Yeah, it's the finding value in the multiples that I've not managed. I'll experiment in Scandinavia over the summer :thumb

Managed two from three tonight and a profit on around 18%; let down by a late goal at Shrewsbury which would have made it a great night, but that's the way it goes. And with apologies to Punter, Aldershot won :)

OH TC,youve opened a can of worms there re. finding value in(antepost) accas!!

Good news-Swindon are evens on average-I shall be availing myself of some of that!
