Swindon anyone?

I think the odds on Swindon are very tight, but talked myself into a very small (2 unit) +0.25 with B365 at 17/40, mainly to maintain an interest while I listen to the lunchtime commentary. Oxford are without several players including the influential Levin in midfield, but although they've occasionally failed to finish teams off in front of an expectant home crowd they're also on a very good run and I think a draw is a possibility.

Also, think I think is the first season I've lived in Swindon the clubs have been in the same division, and I've been surprised by the depth of the rivalry as the clubs are several miles and an hour apart - although of course it will be light years from the intensity of an Aldershot v Woking derby. Both sets of supporters might be happy to avoid defeat.

of course it will be light years from the intensity of an Aldershot v Woking derby..
of course! :lol

cheers for that , I scrubbed them off the shortlist before retiring for the evening, dont like Derbys

Taken the 2 form sides in Aldershot & Bristol Rovers. Was too late for the Swindon game but might have been tempted with Oxfords nerves at home. Have layed Crawley & Gillingham & was tempted to lay Dagenham as well but they cost me midweek so left them alone

Should Crawley be odds on against a side that are in the play-off zone? They've won one game in the league this year haven't they? And they've looked piss poor since two of their best players were snatched away from them (justice for a team that bought themselves promotion in the first place).

Lay at 1.7? I'll have a bit of that I think

I've jumped on the bandwagon and taken Torquay/draw (5/4, Hills, 4 units). Torquay have lost their last couple so aren't on great form themselves, but Crawley's decline has been almost as swift since they've lost Tubbs and Barnett; apparently they've been playing just as well except for losing their sharpness in front of goal. I make this bet around evens or maybe even shorter.

Also had a couple of units on Rotherham's Shaun Harrad to score at Barnet at the general 7/4. Goals have dried up for the Millers recently, but Barnet have conceded eight in two and looked frankly awful losing at Aldershot last week :) . He's got three in five since joining Rotherham so this plays that stat, and also that Barnet have one of the worse home defensive records in the division.

Four units on Vic C's Port Vale DNB at 23/20. Both sides have injury concerns and Port Vale have financial provlems. However, Accy haven't a goal or a point since Paul Cook took over, so this bet sides with the team in form.

Managed a unit profit today with only my joint biggest bet (Torquay) coming in. :)

Aldershot managed a record sixth in a row :dance
