The match is to be played at Old Trafford, now thoroughly decked in “Welcome to Vanchester” posters that just await the fans, without their iPods and other gadgets now banned at the stadium. The pre-season friendlies have brought us an unbeaten Manchester United and the newly crowned Internationals Champions Cup winners. They even managed to win against Real Madrid, regardless of the state their roster was in at said moment. What the team needs now is enough time to adapt to Van Gaal’s new philosophy, while also incorporating the team’s newest signings Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw into the mix. Last time Manchester United met with Swansea, they kept a clean sheet and managed to score two goals, in a season that requires to be forgotten and soon. Robin Van Persie is still recovering from his World Cup injury, will miss the match and Ashley Young to be one of the potential goalscorers. But even so, let's see which one of these two are better

Dunno but they won't be "incorporating Luke Shaw" - he's out injured for a month

Is Tony Pulis about to get the sack? Been heavily backed today, 1.25 @ Skybet

Everton are usually slow starters , add that to the fact that Leicester's home ground will be buzzing with the dreams of the premier league .
I can see Leicester coming away with a draw , just beat Everton the other week , albeit it in a friendly .
Seamus Coleman, Kevin Mirallas and Romelu Lukaku , looking doubtful for Everton.

New record signing for Leicester Leonardo Ulloa will start.

Can't believe they let Pullis go, he must have something else lines up surely.

I remember saying the same thing last year about Everton Wins and they didn't have too bad a start under Martinez, must have been a Moyesy thing.
A draw wouldn't be surprising but I'd expect Everton to win here and I think they'd be expecting it too.

I'm not too keen backing first game fixtures but I reckon Hull could be worth a shout, those two Europa qualifying games will have brought them on more than most getting out of the starting blocks and upto full match fitness and they could well catch QPR cold, who let's be fair were far from impressive getting out of the Championship last season.

I see a couple of people have gone with Spurs to win at West Ham. Looks like a good shout to me.

Also gone for Leicester DNB v everton

A tough start to the season yesterday for punters with just 2 of the 7 favourites won yesterday, and both wins were gained with very late winning goals.

It'll be a brave man who takes 9/4 for the Liverpool / Man City / Chelsea treble. I'm thinking of laying all 3 in doubles and trebles on Betfair at 1.43 / 1.7 / 1.43, I think it'll work out around 6/1 / 6/1 / 9/1 for the doubles and 22/1 for the treble.

Doing 3 x £5 doubles and a £5 treble. Have layed Liverpool @ 1.42 to £15 to cover 2 doubles and the treble. Probably a comfortable home win now but worth a go at these odds when you consider yesterdays results.

Or when you consider the amount of "shock" results on most weekends last season.

Liverpool win, but made hard work of it, and were pretty lucky in the end - a cracking save by Mignolet followed by an open goal miss by Long saving them.

Quite fancy Newcastle to get a result v Man City, certainly couldn't touch City at current odds.

I wouldn't touch CIty either, I have a feeling this year we are going to concentrate more on the CL.
For a lot of Ciy players this is their first game since the WC not even a pre season friendly to get into the swing of things for a few of then.
