Premiership Relegation 2013/2014

I've put my neck out with singles doubles & a treble on Norwich, Fulham & Cardiff. The Norwich single is, for me, a big bet

Good luck Swoop, Norwich look a good shout.

I'd still want West Brom on side though, i think the baggies may have cocked up in getting rid of Clarke and possibly Shane Long. Asking a foreign manager, new to the league, to come in and start off in a relegation battle is a big ask.

Best priced 8/1 with Ladbrokes, it wont be there after tomorrow night if they dont beat Everton. I may call in the shop to take that on my way home tomorrow.

Good results for my bets last few days. Being picky I suppose a Cradiff/Norwich draw would have been better but hey ho. fulham look bereft of hope & ideas even with signings & i'm still happy with meulenstten as next man out, he's sinking fast. Whatever Berbatov's problems, & keeping him may have been untenable, but they could do with his goals now. Took Fulham at Evens, now 4/9 & there's no faith in them anywhere.
Big result for Stoke yesterday as they were sinking south, & a much needed win for Cardiff. Still think Solskjaer has fucked up taking that job as he's not got the experience & whilst the signings give him hope, I'm still very happy with the 3 I've picked.
Could do with Palace avoiding a tonking today as their morale staying upbeat is enormous but I like his signings & he's doing some job there

read an article by Robbie savage where he picked the same 3 as I did did weeks ago to go down. :unsure That's fucked then :frown

Interesting having just looked on oddschecker. Coral have cardiff at a stand out 2/1 to go down, double most other bookies, & they have the shortest price on Villa @ 7/1 whereas most go 10/1. I still think Villa are ok but 10/1 looks value to me :unsure
Fulham are shortening across the board to around 4/11, they look fucked to me

Massive weekend next one then, with fulham needing to beat Hull & sunderland playing cardiff. a draw suits both at swansea/Villa & the same would do for West Ham. Think Albion need 3 points against the Hammers as they, along with Norwich, are the team in danger of not picking up another point.
I think Villla/Swansea/West Ham are safe as not enough of the others can cover the points, but West Brom worry me for my bet. They've got Man cityu tonight, West Ham at home, Arsenal & Sunderland away & Stoke at home. tricky.
Norwich's main chance now is Man Utd next week & if they lose that it's curtain & they'll finish on 32 for me, crucially with a worse GD than Sunderland, so 1 more win for Poyet & Sunderland will be above them, & with Sunderland's momentum on a high, I can see 2 more wins for them.
Fulham have had their surge I think, & if they don't beat hull i can see at best 2 draws? That put's them above Norwich on my reckoning. Cardiff need something at the SofLight & then away at Newcastle. They've been fucked for months since MacKay went.
Still the 3 I've backed for me, Fulham, Cardiff, Norwich

Looking good Swoop. As you say Albion are the worry. Good luck.

My bottom 3 are now the bottom 3 :) the problem being that the team that could slip in & fuck the bet up....is my own :frown

Cardiff & Norwich are gone for me now. Norwich's hope was the Man Utd game & Giggs put paid to that. I think there's just the one place left to avoid, & Fulham & certainly sunderland have momentum, whereas Villa's form is a train wreck. Lose at home to Hull next week & you have to fear for Villa, but a draw will mean Fulham need 2 wins to overtake them, & I can't see that. Villa's GD is better than the others but a defeat to Hull & just 1 win by Sunderland will see that overtaken, & it would almost be a surprise if Sunderland don't get another win.
Still my 3 for me, but Villa's form is poor, & although we've kept it relatively in-house, the club is in disarray

Ah the annual laying of Villa to go down. Thought we were going to forgo it this season but at around 10/1 I'll have a few quids worth of it to boost the end of season profits (if City win the league) or diminish the losses.

Yeah, but when you've called the current bottom 3 just after xmas in a decent bet, & you're own team are going backwards towards the finish line then you're allowed to be nervous. I've never thought the others will cover the gap but I'm thinking about a little bit of 10/1 as cover :embarassed

Covered with a bit of sunderland @ 3/1 as if fulham get out it'll cost me about £300. Norwich @ 7/1 to stay up :unsure

I think Norwich could beat Arsenal on the last day of the season but I think Sunderland's win against Cardiff has royally fucked them up the arse
