Difficult one to bet on seeing as it will be taking place in the middle of the night, but William Hill have just e-mailed me offering a free bet so figure I'll see what happens.
10pts free bet
Figured I need to get off to a fast start to hold interest so I've put it on the following treble - odds 5.18/1
Ogilvy/Schwartzel to bt Haas/Watney - International players in form, and Ogilvy's home course knowledge (even has a house next to the course) will be a bit too much for the USA.
Mickelson/Furyk to bt Goosen/Allenby - Difficult one to call with four players not really in form. I'm thinking round this course Mickelson's short game may shine and be just enough to get over the line.
Woods/Stricker to bt Scott/Choi - US pairs record of 4 out of 4 last time round means they are comfortable together. Stricker says he's over injury and I'm seeing/hoping that Woods is coming back to form (three good rounds last time out). Internationals with Scott playing well and home support will be tough to beat though.
