What do we think of Raheem then?

Personally i cant say as i blame him. He's ambitious and wants to win trophies, something he's unlikely to do under Brendan Rodgers. I'm certain it's not so much about the money, but more about what he wants to achieve.

As a player he can go past players, sometimes with ease, but his final ball or final touch seems to have been mainly poor so far, one or two good goals but overall a poor finishing ratio and a weak shot on him. At just 20 though the potential is there.

As a Liverpool fan i wont mind seeing him gone. If he's not committed and doesn't want to be with us then he's of no use to us.

I'm of the opinion that he wants back in London. Chelsea seem to like taking players from us. They took Torres for £50M (hahahaha), and when we were strongly linked with Willian and Salah, they nipped in last minute and took them. Salah barely got a game before being moved on loan to Fiorentina.

There have been weak rumours that Oscar might be used to seal the deal. I'd love that, Oscar and Coutinho in midfield for us, but like i said it's only a weak rumour and unlikely.as part of the deal.

I more of the opinion that he'll end up at Arsenal, maybe seeing life long Liverpool fan Theo Walcott come to us as part of the deal? The 6/1 for Sterling to be at Arsenal after the summer transfer looks big to me and i'm having some of that. The Gooners were cheeky enough to table a £40M bid for Suarez and there's no reason why they wont try their luck with Sterling. Like i said, i think he wants to head back to London and the gooners can offer him CL football.

I would be slightly surprised if he joined Utd, he'd probably need a 24 hr body guard at his side, i wont rule it out but i think it's unlikely.

City are the fav's to sign him, i wouldn't be surprised if he went there, he's been a bit of a thorn in the side for the past couple of seasons. He could win trophies there and would probably get a minimum £200k per week.

Could he stay at Liverpool? No, not a chance, not unless Liverpool were going to make him see out his contract in the reserves and write off about £30M. Bearing in mind we only brought him for £1M we would be crazy to do that.

Of the other clubs it doesn't look like he's going abroad after his agent claims he's going to join a rival..

What ever the outcome, his agent has come across as a right wanker and once again Liverpool have been embarrassed by a want away player.

Punts Tip: Arsenal @ 6/1 - Saver on Man City @ 7/4

He's definitely got potential but far from the finished article so the price could be a stumbling block for Sterling (wasn't meant to sound like a joke).

Could City do with him? I suppose so yes because we are lacking down the left but for +£40 mill, I would want somebody who could also defend when Kolorov or Clichy are pushing up. Saying that we could also do with a new LB that can actually defend too lol.
I've also heard talk of Dzeko going the other way so you never know it might be a straight swap:lol

lol, over the past few months i've been hearing that we're in for Jovetic!

Whatever we get for Sterling will probably go towards the cost of the new main stand and Anfield development (£260M). I cant see us splashing the cash on big transfer fees for a few yrs now.

6 fucking 1. you want to be hoping the cinto do spend some money mate.

A brand new back four might be a good place to start

Liverpool concede 6 in a league game for the first time since losing 7-2 Spurs in 1963

Sterling left on the bench

Jurgen Klopp currently being hammered to be next Liverpool manager.(2/1 Paddy Power).

I'd lay that all day - Rodgers will still be there next season and Klopp will be in another job by the time that job comes up again.

To put it in perspective Klopp was 4/1 with sky bet yesterday for the Brentford job - true story

Load of bollocks

I did see that 4/1 for Klopp to be Brentford manager :lol

I dont think Rodgers will be there, nobody wants to play for him. Daniel Agger isn't daft, he soon fucked off.

We're a joke and amongst it all we've lost the most respected person inside the club.

We've become embarrassing under Rodgers and i dont blame Sterling for wanting out. We're a club with a lot of young players, they need to be able to look up to someone who's achieved. Rodgers has got to much wrong already, particularly his tactics against Chelsea that blew the league. I know everyone will tell us it was Slippy G's fault but what was he doing as the last line of defence on the half way line, against Chelsea??

Embarrassing...

Ancelotti just been sacked by Madrid, Klopp available, even big Sam is available.

Brendan has to go or the fans will turn their anger to the owners next.

lol, what a difference 12 months make.

If he stays then get your money on him ditching the Europa league in the qualifiers no matter who you play, his only way out of this is to have a season like the season before this one.
Only way he knows how to do that is to sack the midweek games because the squad just doesn't have the depth.

We only have one way out of this and that's with a proven top manager to be Liverpools next signing.

I'm convinced a 'Next Liverpool Manager' market, is going to be this summers big betting turnover.
