What do we think of Raheem then?
Personally i cant say as i blame him. He's ambitious and wants to win trophies, something he's unlikely to do under Brendan Rodgers. I'm certain it's not so much about the money, but more about what he wants to achieve.
As a player he can go past players, sometimes with ease, but his final ball or final touch seems to have been mainly poor so far, one or two good goals but overall a poor finishing ratio and a weak shot on him. At just 20 though the potential is there.
As a Liverpool fan i wont mind seeing him gone. If he's not committed and doesn't want to be with us then he's of no use to us.
I'm of the opinion that he wants back in London. Chelsea seem to like taking players from us. They took Torres for £50M (hahahaha), and when we were strongly linked with Willian and Salah, they nipped in last minute and took them. Salah barely got a game before being moved on loan to Fiorentina.
There have been weak rumours that Oscar might be used to seal the deal. I'd love that, Oscar and Coutinho in midfield for us, but like i said it's only a weak rumour and unlikely.as part of the deal.
I more of the opinion that he'll end up at Arsenal, maybe seeing life long Liverpool fan Theo Walcott come to us as part of the deal? The 6/1 for Sterling to be at Arsenal after the summer transfer looks big to me and i'm having some of that. The Gooners were cheeky enough to table a £40M bid for Suarez and there's no reason why they wont try their luck with Sterling. Like i said, i think he wants to head back to London and the gooners can offer him CL football.
I would be slightly surprised if he joined Utd, he'd probably need a 24 hr body guard at his side, i wont rule it out but i think it's unlikely.
City are the fav's to sign him, i wouldn't be surprised if he went there, he's been a bit of a thorn in the side for the past couple of seasons. He could win trophies there and would probably get a minimum £200k per week.
Could he stay at Liverpool? No, not a chance, not unless Liverpool were going to make him see out his contract in the reserves and write off about £30M. Bearing in mind we only brought him for £1M we would be crazy to do that.
Of the other clubs it doesn't look like he's going abroad after his agent claims he's going to join a rival..

What ever the outcome, his agent has come across as a right wanker and once again Liverpool have been embarrassed by a want away player.
Punts Tip: Arsenal @ 6/1 - Saver on Man City @ 7/4
