England look a rather large price, I wouldn't back them just yet but I have a feeling that price might have come off the back of last weeks defeat to Italy which was just a warm up game.
The Aussies are good but that good to justify that price? I need to get the AH and post them up because there could be some value to be had. even more so looking at the Tonga and Fiji prices, brb.....:leaving

AH...

I'm just testing the water here but with small stakes I'm going to take on the AH...
England, PNG, Ireland and Scotland.

Cheers Colbro, I'm more Interested in seeing how the teams shape up more than anything else , as I said I'm just testing the waters and it also gives me an incentive to watch the early round games.
No big surprises so far but quite a few good performances by most teams involved, the next round should be Interesting betting wise especially on the AH.

Nice one Win's, Sentanta tv for me I'm afraid.
I'll keep an eye out for a bloke wearing a thick t-shirt amongst all the vests in the crowd.

:)

Tonga are a bunch of giants , watched them training before , don't fancy the jocks chances of getting anything out this game.
Handicap of +20 , i think they will need more than that..

Aye it doesn't look good for Scotland but they do have a couple of decent suprleague players so you never know with a handicap that big.

Just remember as my old school footy coach used to tell us, 'the bigger they are the harder they fall':cold

Well what a game , weather absolutely terrible , Tonga seemed in awe of the occasion in the first half, Scotland played like men possessed.
The second half was the best piece of rugby i have witnessed , Tonga woke up , i bet Scotland will struggle on Sunday against Italy , they gave it all tonight and some ....

I only watched the first half Wins and was surprised to see how well Scotland did, the conditions did play a part because Tonga looked like they wanted to get back in the warm dressing room asap, they must have got a right rollicking at the interval.
The grass look a wee bit longer than usual too.
Must have been a corker of a 2nd half.

looks a bit tighter this time around.
England and the Aussies should romp it like NZ did tonight so I won't be touching them with such a big handicap.

This time I'll take Wales and Tonga on the AH.
I'm very very tempted by Italy but such was Scotland's display against Tonga and the feeling Italy can't keep this form up for long plus It's being played at Workington which should favour the Scot's as they've already played there to great effect I've decided against it.

Well that didn't work out did it lol.
next set of fixtures....I'll add the rest when they become available.
07 Nov 20:00 UK Scotland (-6.0) v USA 1.91 17.00 1.91
08 Nov 20:00 UK New Zealand (-48.0) v Papua New Guinea 1.91 17.00 1.91
09 Nov 14:30 UK England (-26.0) v Fiji 1.91 17.00 1.91
09 Nov 20:00 UK Australia (-58.0) v Ireland 1.91 17.00 1.91

Fingers crossed again :crossfingers

Scotland v USA looks like it could be a tight game as both teams are playing well, shit that's a tight handicap with nothing in it.
Nope I can't decide so I'm going to leave it alone, I think Scotland might just nick it but it's going to be touch and go all the way to the final whistle I reckon.
I'm going to take England too as they are now getting upto speed and I expected that handicap to be in the thirties, this game is crucial for both sides but once England take a sizeable lead (here's hoping) then I can see Fiji becoming disheartened.

Quarter Finals..

15 Nov 20:00 UK New Zealand (-44.0) v Scotland 1.91 17.00 1.91 + 6 Bets
16 Nov 13:00 UK Australia (-52.0) v USA 1.91 17.00 1.91 + 6 Bets
16 Nov 20:00 UK England (-36.0) v France 1.91 17.00 1.91 + 6 Bets
17 Nov 15:00 UK Samoa (-6.0) v Fiji 2.00 17.00 1.83

Odds William Hill

All the handicaps are pretty much bang on as tonight's result has shown.

But and it's big but; on the AH I'll take USA, England and Samoa, the latter mind has the makings of a cracking physical battle; one I wouldn't miss for the world.

What a game last weeks semi final between NZ and England was, It was one of the best games of Rugby I have ever seen in my life, in fact I'll go as far to say it was one of the best match ups of teams in any sport I've seen in my life, It's what makes sport a fantastic spectacle the 0.1% of the time which keeps us hooked waiting for the next time.

It was a game where every player on the pitch gave 110% and crawled off battered, bruised and knackered knowing they couldn't give anymore which considering the Aussies in their semi had a walk in the park hammering the Fijians to nil makes the final particularly hard to predict.

80 Minutes Handicap
14:30 UK New Zealand v Australia (-8.0) 2.10 17.00 1.91

That semi against England will have taken a lot out of NZ whilst the Aussies have had an easy route to the final even though they did beat England themselves in the Qualifying rounds but that cannot be compared to the English side that took on NZ last weekend.
The Aussies have looked pretty impressive in every game and no one would argue about them being favourites for this game but if NZ have managed to recuperate in time for this match then they will run them close and make a mockery of that handicap.
NZ 2.10 (-8) @ 2.10
