Not got time to write much now, but I'm struggling to see why Gillingham are a bigger price to beat the team bottom of the league and 3-2-7 at home tomorrow than they are to beat the team in 18th and 6-2-6 at home at the weekend :thinking Price against Carlisle looks about right, think there's value on the Gills tomorrow though.

Only thing I can think of is that Carlisle may be being perceived as being on the way down whereas Stevenage may have been playing reasonably well without quite getting the rub of the green.

Not sure about how they've been playing, but results certainly aren't going Stevenage's way. Their last 4 homes have included games against all the other 3 teams in the bottom 4 - they lost to Shrewsbury and Notts County, and drew with Sheffield Utd.

Carlisle's home record actually looks a lot better once you take into account they lost their first 3 home games (I believe they changed managers some time around then, although would have to check that). Since then their home record's pretty respectable.

Well,youve certainly convinced me.

The Racing and Football Outlook agrees with rcgills.

Every week they give what they think are the true odds of every game and they have:

Gills as 2.94 to win to win at Stevenage and 4.37(from memory) to win at Carlisle.

Its no surprise therefore to find that they think Gills are value at Stevenage tonight but more of a surprise to find that one of them thinks they are also value on Saturday!

I do think that 12-5(bet365) is a decent bet.(If its not value its probably very close to the true odds.)But I also like the betfair correct scores 0-1,0-2 and 1-2 as you can cash out and they must be about evens to score first(regardless of the odds).

Then again I think Stevenage are in a slightly false position:unsure

I've taken the draw in the Scunthorpe-Chesterfield game. Both sides are on form, being top two they're evenly matched, I can't separate them, and the result might be something they both settle for. It's generally 12/5, and I'd have it very slightly shorter.

In the Conference, in form and high flying Luton and Grimsby are both too short to beat relegation-threatened Tamworth and Southport, but a double of 3/4 with Hills looks a bit better, I think. Slightly higher stakes than the Scunthorpe game to get a profit if only one comes in.

Walsall look big @ Evs to me. MK Dons haven't won in 5, including losing to 3 of the bottom 8 in that spell. They've sold Shaun Williams & lost a few loans including the top scorer. Walsall are unbeaten in 7 & have Ngoo debuting from liverpool. Evens too big

Shaun Derrys fight worries me a bit but for all the talk Notts County aren't really getting results. coventry have made half decent signings & obviously without the 10pnts deduction would be in the play offs
