I feel a bit bad posting those links now

I was always against his appointment - I was always sure it would not work out...

However in the times when I was eating humble pie the football at Villa was actually quite good - we played some nice stuff

He gave us fans a couple of great days which I will remember fondly.

I have no idea what it was that has stopped him from going from just mere potential to actually achieving on a regular basis...

I would like, at this point, to add a intelligent sentence to sum up what exactly was wrong --- but that is just not going to happen - I just don't know

I wouldn't feel bad mate. One of those posts sums up the situation perfectly. All this bollocks about good English managers not getting the breaks - the truth is that there just aren't many about.
