these odds from skybet

Tiger Woods 8/1 Justin Rose 20/1 Phil Mickelson 20/1

Adam Scott 22/1 Graeme Mcdowell 25/1 Rory McIlroy 28/1

Ernie Els 28/1 Sergio Garcia 28/1 Lee Westwood 30/1

Luke Donald 33/1 Henrik Stenson 33/1 Jason Day 35/1

Charl Schwartzel 40/1 Brandt Snedeker 40/1 Dustin Johnson 45/1

Rickie Fowler 50/1 Matt Kuchar 50/1 Ian Poulter 60/1

Here are a few of the prices for this year's open , I'll be taking an interest like every year and having a bet, with this fine weather I'll probably miss most of it.

Bet Victor are offering 1/4 the odds first 8 , but I will be using bet365 who have 1/4 odds first 7

As usual I'm tempted by Tiger @ 10/1 but I'll probably choose a few outsiders to go with a Mickleson win

Well the weather isn't going to be a factor , great forecast for the four days.
Will have a read up on it tomorrow..

Had Darren Clarke when he won this a couple of years back. My run is sure to end soon :unsure

Got to be Tiger Woods for me...each way @ 10-1 [Paddy Power] First 7 places

Only world class players win this ultimate Muirfield test

Well I've decided to get all scientific about this & throw a mudstained rugbyball at the list of players........

That gave me...............

Lefty, GMac, LouisO, Paddy, Sergio & Luuuuuuke, all ew.

However you can't rely on science too much so I took an outlandish punt on Lefty finishing in the top 20 @ 10/11 to cover the lot........he's doomed :p

Betfair gave me some free spins on an arcade game and I won £3.95 - which was nice of them.

I've put the lot on Jordan Speith @ 150.00. He is a teenage rookie who has made an impressive start to his career on the US tour and won last weekend in the John Deer. Other than that I don't know much about him except watching him for some reason he reminded me of Boris Becker when he was 17 and winning at Queens just prior to wimbledon. He looked very composed and confident.

I don't know how much, if any, links golf he has played but if the weather is good then this may not affect as much as if the weather was bad. I think he is a very long shot but is one to watch in the future.

Edit spelling error - should be Jordan Spieth

Match bet

Mikko Ilonen to beat Wood @ 1.91 [William Hill]

LouisO has withdrawn, no money back though..........Otherwise Luuuuke having a bit of a mare but the others guys are alright as I type. Long way 'till Sunday..

Hehe; that'll do!

They all fell by the wayside bar Phil. hard to critise him, bit too "All American" for me but that said, he's good at his sport, he looks after his family, & never has a bad word for anybody.

He certainly earned his win this weekend so I suppose you could say that this time "Nice guys finish First"! (Tigger, go find a sheep!)

Well done that man!

4PP Out,

7.30pm

35°C in the shade & my G&T is melting,

wtf do I live in France????????????

Idiot!!!!!

Maybe you could could tigger some advice on where the best sheep are? he's already caught quite the heifer with his skier! lol! :D

thanks snods for the compliment but I'm sure B O'D would have won if gats hadn't dropped him - I suppose i better put a lol there
