Total Goals in Knockout Round

I have a contest and one of the tie breaker questions is total goals in knockout round.

I was going to say based on the bad pitch and what we have seen previously that an average of 1.25 goals per match would be pretty safe.

Thoughts?

If you think 1.25 goals is a safe bet then good luck, sounds like a bit of a lottery to me.
Plus haven't they changed the ball for the knockouts? so who knows how that will perform.

They changed the ball? I didn't hear about this.

I was thinking of raising the average but besides the Portugal Hungary game its been very low scoring.

We will see, fingers crossed.
