I'm like a broken record but over 3.5 @ 2.09 in Prestatyn game once more (Betsafe). They have had a couple of under 3.5 games lately but were back to their high scoring, high conceding ways in the Welsh Cup last week, winning 4-3. Manager Gibson reckons the lack of goals against Port Talbot was due to injuries/suspensions. As far as I can tell they are back to full strength except for Gibson himself (player-manager; he is still suspended I think) though it is difficult to get accurate information, I see Price didn't play up front last week according to their website, though they still manager the four goals! Connah's Quay should cause problems themselves with Healey and Petrie up front against a poor Prestatyn defence so we should see goals.

I'll post anything else of interest I find...

hi pg - that overs bet has made you a few quid this season and it looks good again
Connah's Quay good start to the season came to an abrupt bump when they came across Prestatyn earlier in the season and their performances have not been as good since and I can see a Prestatyn win here for Friday.

Airbus have been getting back to winning ways after their blip to Carmarthen and Bangor . Aber recent good form has been against the mid-table sides and they will find Airbus more difficult opponents but with Airbus less than evens I'm having doubts about a bet.

I'm getting drawn towards having a bet on Afan Lido but its that Newtown win against TNS a few weeks ago that is holding me back

Bala Town , Bangor and TNS should win as the short odds indicate.

there is a decent preview of this weekend's games on the welshpremier site if you want more info regarding availability of players

Thanks, that was a good link.

I'm finding it hard to find a profitable angle for those other games. Maybe Bala @ 1.75?? Llanelli seem to be having problems again, with talk of a lot players leaving. I'm not convinced enough that it's value though.

Rumours abound that Llanelli players are being paid but have not received wages that were due for past matches.
Llanelli have been given the UEFA money early to pay some of their debts but are still in financial trouble and will have to reduce their wage bill.
It's been reported that quite a few players will leave in the January window and have clubs lined up already, so its difficult to know what kind of effort some of these players will put into their performances.

I have already done a double of Prestatyn / Bala Town

p.s its not a big bet just some drinking money for next Friday

A shame about the Prestatyn game.

Significant drift on Bangor....last I checked they were best priced 1.35, now Bet365 offering the -0.5AH @ 1.45. I've checked various forums and see no worrying reason for the drift. I can only think people looking for a long shot have backed Carmarthen due to their 3-0 win at TNS. Long term Bangor are pretty formidable at home, especially if you don't consider their games against TNS, who generally have their number. Not including Bangor vs TNS, they have a 77% home win ratio over the last three seasons. Considering 1.45 = 68.9%, I'd say 1.45 was a good value bet, even factoring in the fact that Carmarthen are canny opposition and Aizlewood has manager of the month. I've put a fairly large stake on.

this news from welsh-premier

SATURDAY'S Welsh Premier fixture between Aberystwyth Town and Airbus UK Broughton has been postponed due to a waterlogged Park Avenue pitch

I agree with you pg about Bangor , it's 12 months since they've moved to their new home and I think their home record in the past year will have skewed the stats, Carmarthen's win at TNS surprised a lot of followers of this league but I cannot see another Carmarthen "surprise"

I think that Bangor -1 @ 1.95 with bet365 is value
