2 November
Bangor City (1.3) v (4.75) Newtown (8.5)

3 November
Carmarthen (4.25) v (3.75) Airbus UK (1.73)
Port Talbot (1.91) v (3.4) Connahs Quay (3.55)
Prestatyn (1.8) v (3.5) Llanelli (3.85)
TNS (1.14) v (7.5) Afan Lido (15)
Bala Town (1.62) v (3.75) Aberystwyth (4.85)

it looks like every one of my selections are odds on , any fool could select them .

Prestatyn v Llanelli
Prestatyn top of the league by virtue of their win last week at bottom club Lido after getting hammered the previous week 5-0 by Airbus. Prestatyn are undefeated at home .I'm hoping that being league leaders will give Prestatyn a confidence boost.
This bet is one of opposing Llanelli who have been inconsistant this season. Their away performances have been better than at home. They have been in ongoing financial problems with non-payment of wages. They have four players suspended. More can be read here from welsh-premier site

My bet is Prestatyn @ 1.83 with betvictor

The form team are Airbus and I'll be including them in some form of acca

Friday's match , got to have a bet , discipline out of the window

Bangor v Newtown
Bangor can got top tonight with a win. Bangor have only lost once this season at home to Llanelli , the other four home matches have been home wins.Bangor did lose early in the season at Newtown when they conceeded two late goals after leading. I cannot see that happening again.
Bangor's injury situation according to welshpremier site.
They have injury concerns though and with midfielders Damian Allen and Craig Garside both ruled out, manager Nev Powell will be sweating on the fitness of skipper Jamie Brewerton and Ryan Edwards. Les Davies is also not at 100%, but the in-form forward is likely to soldier on.

Newtown have only won four games this season , Afan Lido and last season's top three clubs of Bangor,TNS and Llanelli. They have struggled to get points from the "mid-table" sides so it looks like they can up their game against the big sides

Matty Cook still out with a hamstring injury. Luke Boundford picked up a dead leg against Bala last week, whilst some training knocks have caused concerns with Iain Edmunds and Max Penk

I think that the form Bangor have shown recently will be good enough to defeat Newtown . The odds of 1.33 for a straight win is not very good so I'm going for Bangor to win by more than one goal. The Asian Handicap is offering better price than the european handicap so my bet is
Bangor -1.5 @ 2.0 available with various bookies

I`ve been fooled so often by unexpected absences. Any problems re Airbus team news, traeth?

I was away this weekend...well done traeth good call on Bangor, and also well done Punter the other day for the Bale scorecast vs Southampton.

thanks pg , the bangor bet was nice but had a bigger return from my Prestatyn bet ,The Airbus result was not expected and shocked a few of the WPL followers, but with this weekend's results it was not the only one in my acca that let me down.

0nly one game in the WPL next weekend as its the 2nd round of the Wel;sh Cup , don't know if any odds will be offered for those.

I think the teams at the bottom have improved in relation to the teams at the top this year, which is probably a good thing for the league. We've seen quite a few shocks, Bangor losing at Newtown, TNS losing at home to Newtown, Airbus losing at Carmarthen, TNS losing at Prestatyn and Airbus etc.

How come the Welsh Cup 2nd round means only one WPL game? It seems none of the WPL sides are involved in the 2nd round. Or is it to boost attendances for those smaller clubs?
