these odds from V.C.

Mon 02 Jan
14:30 Afan Lido v Port Talbot 2.05 3.40 3.00
14:30 Airbus v Bala Town 2.10 3.25 3.00
14:30 Carmarthen v Aberystwyth 2.50 3.30 2.40

14:30 Prestatyn v Bangor 3.75 3.40 1.80
14:30 T.N.S. v Newtown 1.10 8.00 13.00

these are the reverse fixtures of the "derbies" of Dec 26th/27th

here are those results

Mon 26 Dec
Aberystwyth 4-1 Carmarthen
Bala Town 1-0 Airbus
Newtown 1-3 The New Saints
Port Talbot 2-2 Afan Lido

Tue 27 Dec
Bangor 5-3 Prestatyn
Llanelli 0-1 Neath

I guess TNS are the 'banker', if very short. Maybe I'll double them with something else.

those odds on TNS not a bet for me

Airbus have lost their manager to TNS , this news from welsh-premier site
Head coach Gareth Owen and assistant Andrew Thomas will be in caretaker charge of Airbus UK Broughton following the departure of director of football Craig Harrison to The New Saints.

my thoughts on Monday's games

Afan Lido v Port Talbot ...Afan Lido are a difficult side to beat at home and Port Talbot have a poor away record , Port Talbot have not won since 28th October. Home win for me

Airbus v Bala Town ...Airbus with a caretaker manager and need points in their last game before the mid-season split to get into the top half.
Bala Town have struggled recently but defeated Airbus 1-0 on boxing day.Difficult to pick a winner here .

Carmarthen v Aberystwyth ...Carmarthen bottom of the league under a caretaker manager who is having no success .
Aber have the players but have not had the results , but I can see them beating Carmarthen again

Neath v Llanelli ...Neath a bit of a draw specialist in recent games but defeated Llanelli with 10 men on the 27th December.
Llanelli were on a great run of six straight wins until they were beaten at home to Neath. I can see this one being a draw.

Prestatyn v Bangor ...Prestatyn need two points from their next two games to guarantee being in the top table after the split.
Bangor beat Prestatyn 5-3 in their last game at Farrar Road before their move to a new stadium. They dominated this match but seemed to ease off when two goals ahead and had to ensure their lead when Prestatyn got close to a draw. Bangor scored early which resulted in Prestatyn being more adventurous than normal early on. I can see them being more defensive at home but still thing Bangor are a better side and will want to stay at the top of the league.

T.N.S. v Newtown...Second placed TNS do not drop many points at home and I cannot see them dropping any against a side they beat 3-1 on Boxing day.
But at those odds its not a bet for me .

so my selections are
Afan Lido @ 2.2 with Coral
Aber @ 2.5 with bluesq
Bangor @ 1.83 with bluesq
