Pleased to hear it. Let me know when we've decided:thumb

What makes you fancy those two traeth? Saw highlights of Newtown's last game and they seemed to play really well, which was a bit of a shock to me.

One bet I've done is over 2.5 in Bangor vs Bala @ 1.6 (Bet365). Only three Bangor home games have been under 2.5 goals in the last two seasons! Bala are involved in more tight matches but still a majority of overs games this season. Bangor need to win this to keep up any realistic title ambitions so it should be quite an open game. Looks good value to me.

hi pg , some of ODM and my thoughts about the games :)

Afan Lido v Newtown ...these two will meet in the final of the league cup , Newtown beat a "second string" TNS in the semi second leg on Tuesday. Lido have drawn a lot of games since the split. It is the "value" in that price that interest us, but having second thoughts now.
Bangor v Bala Town ...Last season Bangor were in a similar position to now with three games to go , they were 4 points behind TNS and beat them at home to win the league in the final game. This season their final game is at TNS so a more difficult proposition , they need to put pressure on TNS by winning on Friday. Bangor's home form at their new ground has been poor though. They won 1-0 at Bala in February so that's holding us back from your overs pg
Port Talbot v Aberystwyth ...not a game we'll be betting on , Aber have improved but their manager isn't one we have faith in

Prestatyn v Neath ... Prestatyn the side who have not won since the league split, Neath hoping that Bangor slip up and they can get second place , Neath host Bangor next week .
Airbus v Carmarthen ...Airbus lost to lower tier Cefn in the Welsh Cup semi last week mainly due to having players missing and we can see them struggling again this week but are Carmarthen good enough to win away ?
New Saints v Llanelli...TNS the form team leading the table against Llanelli who have only beaten Prestatyn since the split. The home advantage on the plastic pitch against Llanelli who do not well there should be enough .

We need to get some news on Airbus' team before risking our money ,
Lido could easily get a draw so more doubts on Newtown

The only thing that interests me in terms of the 1x2 market is TNS. I think they'll beat Llanelli, it is interesting that Llanelli have only beaten Prestatyn since the split. Three key players may leave Llanelli soon according to this article http://www.welsh-premier.com/index.php/headline-news/4498-saints-target-leagues-leading-marksman, including Rhys Griffiths who has a legendary goalscoring record. This may have unsettled Llanelli and they have a poor record at TNS like you say. I can't really ascertain whether or not 1.5 is value. It may be, not sure whether or not I will risk it.

How many games are played in this league gents, is it 36?

How many games are played in this league gents, is it 36?

32
they play all 11 opponent home and away before they split in two groups of six , where they play their 5 opponents home and away

pg I find it dificult to believe that Griffiths will leave Llanelli for TNS , he could be fishing for a better deal or hoping that Neath "survive" their financial crisis to go there.
Griffiths is still a fireman and refused to become a full time footballer a few years ago so unless something has changed a move up North would be a surprise

Bangor v Bala Town

This news about Bala Town from The Daily Post
Manager Colin Caton said: ““We have close games with Bangor and we’re looking forward to playing at their new ground.
“Last week was disappointing, we started slugglishly and paid the price, but you’ve got to give TNS credit.
“We were due a blip, but we need to put it behind us.”
Lee Hunt, sent off last week, is suspended, but Ian Sheridan and Ben Collins are back

Our bet on Friday is Bangor -1 A.H. @ 1.80 with bet365

:hissyfit

i was so tempted with Newtown after reading up here, i left it in the end, they are leading 5-1 after 62 minutes. I hope it finishes 5-5!

final score Afan Lido 1 - 6 Newtown

I persuaded myself that there was a risk of a draw so I did not back my own tip , how wrong can you get ?

yesterday's results
Afan Lido 1-6 Newtown
Bangor 4-2 Bala Town
Port Talbot 2-1 Aberystwyth

great call on the overs in the Bangor match pg

Today I'm going with a favourites double of TNS/Neath based mainly on today's reports of the opposition

Prestatyn ... losers since the split
PLAYER-manager Neil Gibson is set to return .
The influential boss has been absent for seven weeks because of a hamstring injury
Injuries and suspensions continue to bite hard, with Michael Parker, Gareth Wilson, Steve Rogers and Darren Hughes all missing today.

Llanelli ... unrest in the camp? this from Welsh-prem site
Llanelli's boss Andy Legg is waiting to hear whether Stuart Jones, Chris Venables and Rhys Griffiths are staying at Stebonheath Park next season.
Jones and Venables are being courted by Bala Town, while TNS are interested in top striker Rhys Griffiths.
"As a manager you just have to get on with it and, to be honest, if they leave I will go out and try to replace them with even better players," Legg told the Llanelli Star.
"I'm not particularly bothered at this stage but I will be speaking with them before tomorrow's match to see what their intentions are and if they are about to leave they may not figure against Saints."
Llanelli's past record at Saints has been dreadful with just three wins in 16 visits and with six defeats in their last eight matches the visitors will start as outsiders

Great tips with Carmarten, Newtown and Bangor -1 AH traeth, even if you didn't follow the Newtown one, I know how irritating it is when that happens.

cheers pg but a poor second half performance by TNS against 10 men cost me this weekend

There are three games on Monday/Tuesday , I'll post my thoughts here

odds from Ladbrokes
09 Apr. 14:30 Airbus v Port Talbot 1.80 3.40 3.60
09 Apr. 14:30 Bala Town v Llanelli 2.40 3.20 2.50
10 Apr. 19:30 Afan Lido v Aberystwyth 1.83 3.40 3.50

Bala Town v Llanelli
Three games to go , so this is a nothing game as 4th plays 5th in the play-off and both team will finish either fourth or fifth , their league positions
4. Llanelli 29 50
5. Bala Town 29 46
Recent form has Llanelli holding leaders TNS to a 1-1 draw on Saturday , whilst Bala Town have conceeded 8 goals in their last two matches , 4-2 against Bangor on Friday and a 4-0 defeat to TNS in the semi of the Welsh Cup.
Bala Town's pitch is not the best in the league and with today's rain it won't be the passing on the ground game that Llanelli played on TNS' plastic.
Bala Town have their striker Hunt out through suspension.
Typing this post has persuaded me not to back Bala Town .

Airbus v Port Talbot

Airbus lost at home 1-0 on Saturday to Carmarthen who complimented the pitch and lost the previous week to lower tier Cefn in the Welsh Cup semis.
Since they have had a new management team Airbus form has deteriorated and they have numerous injuries.
I think some players have realised that they will not be at Airbus next season and this has resulted in their absence /injuries.
Port Talbot form is improving but they do suffer away from home but today I'm opposing Airbus.

Port Talbot @ 4.0 with bet365
