Probably about right Martin, Messi had a quiet year by his standards and should be happy enough winning the 'player of the world cup' for doing naff all.
I would have liked to have seen Neuer win it because he deserves some sort of recognition for his exploits but while Ronaldo and Messi are on the scene that's never going to happen, maybe they should have a separate category for keepers, which only seems fair to me.
