Fair effort form TINOS for you Punt. That and the winner were both 4 year old's, so were carrying their share of weight

10.15 Sha - Tin - TEAM FORTUNE - Hot FAV races for the first time since late December, steps up to 1200m for the first time and tackles a bend for the first time too. Could still outclass these, but can't ignore TF at a massive price. Close up last twice and no real stinkers in last 6 runs at the venue, so a fixed win price of 151 looks extremely generous.

Ran an absolute cracker and in a photo for 3rd. Lengthy wait to find out, but fearing the worst.

Team Fortune, indeed 4th. Last race over in HK and found another at a huge price and also had a punt at the " first four " exotic bet -

10.50 Sha - Tin - MY ALLY - Gonna need plenty of luck from the draw, but trainer won the last race and looked OK in the preliminaries which are currently on ATTHERACES. MA Failed to get involved in the race on his HK debut, but that was over 5f and European form was all over 7f / 1m and goes over the mile today. Again available at a fixed win price of 151 and for me that is simply too big.

11.15 Scottsville - SHARPE'S EAGLE and SCOTTISH BLUE - SE is the stable 2nd string, but ran well enough in 2 trials to suggest there is something there at 28's. SB was just 5/1 last time and is 40's today. Form suggests it will be difficult, but that price and one piece of form ( Greyville 4th ) gives him a squeak.

Sharpe's Eagle placed and Scottish Blue poor.

11.45 Scottsville - SAIL INTO THE SUN and RED HERRING - SITS, is a nicely bred newcomer form the Gary Player Stud and surprised by the early 22's on offer. RH was a no show on debut, but is bred to do better and will have benefitted for that experience. Can Improve at 66's.

12.25 Scottsville - FRANCOLIN and WINTER WOLF - The latter is a nicely bred newcomer and WW whilst having plenty to find, has the blinkers added and does go with ease in the ground. Not looked like living up to his fair pedigree, but happy taking a punt at 100's.

1.30 Scottsville - PURE BLONDE and WYNKELDER - Listed h'cap and gone with 2 solid looking ones, both at 11's.

2.05 Scottsville - STAR FLYER - Recent runs have been in features, so while the bare form does not compare to the others, has still achieved a bit and not sure he should be 33's.

3.15 Scottsville - STATUTE - Plenty of visiting horses for this one, but going with one that is locally trained. Both wins from 4 starts have been over c & d and have come for this jockey and whilst facing stronger today, does have plenty of scope at 28's

3.50 Scottsville - MISS TRUST - Plenty just missed the cut there, due to weight / ground / draw issues and ended up with this one. Don't particularly like it more than any others, but do feel the 20's to be too big.

Garbage to date, but saved due to Punt's picks. Gonna have one last dabble over in France -

5.25 Longchamp - TECKWIN at 11's and PARK TOWER at 16's

Monday 30th April

3.20 Flamingo Park - DIAMONDS AND DIOR - Kinishiwa looks the sensible one at 7's, but DAD remains lightly raced and has simply got to be better than his debut in the region last time out. Race looks to lack any real strength in depth, so happy risking the 33's.

3.50 Flamingo Park - FOR EVER - Quite short for 3 of last 7 runs ( inc one as FAV ) and does not shirk a battle. Pretty much hoping for a " going day " at 33's.

5.30 Kilbeggan - AMSCHEL - Possibly more one for the future, but don't mind risking this one on debut at 33's.

5.40 Windsor - KG PASSION - Anthem of Peace would not be the biggest shock, but the Meehan juvenile's tend to improve for the run. KGP is nicely bred on debut and the stable can get one ready at 22's.

Tuesday 1st May

12.10 Turffontein - MEXICAN PRIEST - 5 Outsiders in the field and do think this is the most likely " rag " at 100's.

12.45 Turffontein - SHE'S TAILOR MADE - Improved on 2nd start and hopefully can improve again at 16's.

1.20 Turffontein - ALL I GOT - Lightly raced, stable's only runner of the day and worth the try at a mile at 12's.

3.05 Turffontein - DESERT SUNSET - Kurt's Approval looks good, but bit short at 7's. DS is back off a break, but recent form all solid enough and fair EW shout at 16's.

3.35 Turffontein - WHORLY WHORLY - Equipment malfunction last time did not help and a similar effort today has him going close at 14's.

5.15 Yarmouth - ALDBURY LASS - Possible improver on handicap debut at 10's.

5.45 Kempton - DOLLY DUPREE and WOLSTONBURY - Former's stable operates on a fairly solid strike rate with their juveniles and can get one ready at 16's. The latter is on 2nd start, but the trainer can get one to improve massively and happy taking the chance at 22's.

5.50 Kempton - SUBLIMATION - 12 Month break an obvious worry, but every chance if fit and firing.

8.30 Ballinrobe - I UNDERSTAND and BERKELEY BARON - Pair of " rags " both available at 100's.

Wednesday 2nd May

11.00 Scottsville - EASTBROOK and ITALIAN WAY - Eastbrook ran nicely on debut and then saddle slipped on 2nd start. Unraced FAV looks potentially useful and a couple of these looks solid, but really don't get why this one is 16's. IW was a massive drifter on 2nd start and ran accordingly. Fair chance based on debut effort and could easily go well at 28's.

11.30 Scottsville - GRACI LIGHTHOUSECAT and SPIRIT OF THE LAW - GL competes over a more suitable looking trip on 2nd start and represents powerful connections at 14's. SOTL has plenty to find, but has hinted at ability and certainly bred to do better at 66's.

12.00 Scottsville - GOOI A LAS - Once raced, possible improver at 10's.

12.15 Sha - Tin - CORRE RAPIDO - Unplaced in all 11 starts to date, but odd effort actually reads quite well and makes stable debut today at 20's.

12.35 Scottsville - PROSPEROUS - Not really convinced by any of these and a minimum place certainly looks possible t 28's.

1.10 Scottsville - OAKDENE and SUCH A RUSH - Competitive race and going for these 2 solid looking 14/1 shots.

1.15 Sha - Tin - GIDDY GIDDY and MY HONEY - GG has enough form in the bank, but does have top weight, whilst MH has just the one piece of form, but does have ability and has bagged a good draw at 50's.
