I've abandoned the place thread. I had to go down South for a while. The thread was going in the same direction anyway. :)

This thread is all about hitting a big priced winner. Long losing runs will be inevitable but the eventual pay-off makes it all worthwhile.

The list of horses I type all offer a bit of value. Some much more than others. After a horses name will be a number. It is that horses Value Quotient. Horses in bold will be backed to one point level stake @ bfsp.

Hi Punter. I expected it to be a n/r for my race but was not interested in the race it did run in.
Rigidity was beaten 1/2 L into 2nd place @ 40/1 (60.99).
Looking ahead, the rest of the week offers me just three suitable races. All on the 21st. I'll be back then.
 
The three races I was interested in today have all cut up badly. I won't be getting involved.

No good on Tuesday.
Due to the sporadic frequency of suitable races I've decided to expand my criteria a bit. I normally stick to Class 1-2-3 h/caps of 14 or more runners. Should there be none of those on any particular day, I shall dabble in the most valuable H/cap available with 14 or more runners.
Today I have rated (initially) the Taunton 2.55. As I have to go out before 10am I shall finish it off when I return early pm.
