Been having a think about this and as I'm testing the selection process and not the staking process, it actually makes no sense to have the '10% of bank' staking system as it just adds another factor into working out what does and doesn't work with the selections.
I'm more interested in the performance of the individual bet types (W, 1.5AH, etc) than the overall performance (unless it all makes profit! ) so I'm going to change and backdate the staking to 10pts per bet and see how that pans out both in hindsight and moving forward.
Interestingly, the win bets move back into profit with quite a large swing. The 'cash cow' of the system, 1.5 AH bets, takes a bit of a knock but is still well in profit.
And here's the full breakdown to date.
Only two selections before Friday.
Shocking weekend! Glad I'm only paper testing this.
Still I'm sure there's a little nugget in this somewhere (commonly known as jtw's h2h meetings system).
2 selections before Friday.
Blimey, as if things weren't going bad enough for this system it then goes and throws up Gillingham
And they didn't let me down rc
Slight loss on the weekend.
The whole purpose of this was to test the original system from a few years ago, build up a set of data and then analyse that data to see if anything better jumped out.
One very simple tweak gives this encouraging result.
Nevertheless, we'll keep going as we are for now and have another look at the data in a few weeks.
Just 2 selections before Friday.
Small loss on the 2 midweek games.
Lots of games for the weekend.
Well it's going very well folks!
I've also removed the initial starting bank of £100 so the P/L is reflective of what is actually happening. As we're testing this, it didn't make sense having a starting bank.
Well onwards and upwards....maybe.....
